Last night my bf said he was going to walk down the road to get some pizza and 5 hrs later he came back telling me that on last min he decided to go clubbing with his friends. A similar situation happened before. Even though he introduced me to all of his friends and his mom, (even told his mom that he wants to marry me in future) i don't understand how he could treat me this way.He is 24 and i am 20 but i still think he acts so immature. what can I DO?

Love, and respect go hand, and hand.
Action speaks louder than words!!!!!
He has done this to you twice now.

What makes you think he is not going to continue treating you like this?

Get away from this guy fast!!
Otherwise your in for more lies, and a lot of heartache.

Just because he is telling his mom he wants to marry you in the future, is not a guarantee he will change his ways.

He is past the age to be acting like this.
He don't need to grow up.
What he needs to learn to is.......be honest from the start by saying what he means, and meaning what he says.

Best of luck with this loser.

I think he has the right to change mind and go to clubbing with his friends if he likes to but still, he can call you and tell that he won't be back soon and why... Some people just can't give up on their freedom and sometimes they do the most unreasonable thing to prove themselves that they are still free and do whatever they like whenever they want... But I believe being in a relationship, especially in one of which you consider that will conclude as a marriage, you need to take some responsibilities and mature a little bit...
I am sure you can still talk out this issue... Tell him how you feel about that and see what kind of response he is giving... If he is not worried about how you feel and just nods, believe me he will turn out as a husband who leave for a pizza and never returns.

It's in the accountability issue: Does he have to report his whereabouts at all times?
Cell phones are notorious between husbands/wives/lovers for this reason. Once men are married, their wives expect to know where they are at all times and the leash is very tightened (obviously, an insecure amount of trusting and lying might be going on too to avoid the truth)!

He's a guy. Its not natural for us to say those words, so clearly after a few drinks he gets the confidence to bring himself to say it. I think he does love you but dont think that just coz he aint saying it every 5 mins he doesn't. He does so just relax & get drunk with him!

Well, you should reconsider him being your boyfriend. I can't imagine any girl or guy thinking this type of behavior would be ok. Is he African - American? IF so, that explains it and he will not change. Not prejudice as I am black also, but many of my friends treat their women like this also. You may want to find another guy.
Cheers,

It sounds like he doesn't know what love is....he needs to know that respect is a big part of love before he even thinks about marriage...he has more growing up to do.

find yourself a REAL man. I think you should look to guys a bit older if your looking for respect. It's a hormone thing with guys... We actually 'start' listening to women at around 25 or so... younger than that, it's all about sex...

find someone who treats you better... sounds like his buddy's will always come first. And besides, why would he want or need to go clubbing when he already has a girl friend...

If he doesn't do what he says he's going to, why is that a big deal...Hummm You should be dating someone who is at least as good as his word. Men know how to use the phone! Right??? I'm sure he has a cell....

drop this jerk like he is a red hot potato. If he loved you he would treat you with respect. He is not worth your time. If you stay with him it will only get worse. You need a man, not a boy
