You will never recieve a reasoned answer from theists, deists and/or Christians. It's always something foolish like "can you see the wind?" Wind can be felt, it's effect can be directly observed and it's speed and pressure can be measured. But your average xtian never thinks carefully when he/she answers. They also don't think when they demand you prove there isn't a god. The onus of proof is on the claimant. Extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence and they can't provide anything other than testimonials - which cannot be considered evidence -and "The Bible tells me so".
A certain classification of theists claim that creation is so complex that it could not have "just happened", and they like to point to the human eye as an example of just such an extraordinary creation. Except that the human eye is one of the worst examples they could pick: it's put together exactly backwards! Even the lowly ocean-dwelling squid has a better eye than humans do! So if we humans are made in God's image, that's not saying much about God!
Others will prattle on about "You can't disprove my personal encounter with God!" but they cannot prove that their "encounter" was not the result of drunkenness, drug intoxication, hallucination brought on by illness or exhaustion or extreme emotional distress. Nor can they provide proof that they aren't simply lying.
So: it is a question to which you'll recieve many responses - but the truth? Not bloody likely!

faith is solid depending on how strong a person's faith is. Even if you prove to him that science is fact he can still rely on his faith of whatever he believes in.
As for me I rely on circular logic. God is good because he is supreme.

I know that you said that faith is not solid. But why not? Can you see the wind? How do you know it is real? To be honest, I can't think of any "scientific" proof, but that is the whole point to faith. God wants us to trust Him and not science.
"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God" 1 Corinthians 1:18
"For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe." 1 Corinthians 1:21
"For you see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hat God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence." 1 Corinthians 1:26-29
I hope that this helps you. I really believe that God is real and that Christ came to die for my sins and yours so that we can all have eternal life. I may not have any "scientific proof" for you, but just think bout this. If I am wrong, I have lost nothing in this life, but if the world is wrong and does not Know CHrist as their savior, they have lost everything.
God Bless you

If you're asking Christians, we are commanded to believe by faith. So, although some will seek evidence and may believe they've found it, that would go against scripture.
Provide "evidence" he doesn't exist.

There is no backup. Like I always tell people - you've either had a personal experience that proves deity to you - or you haven't. Those who have had an experience cannot prove that experience to anyone else. And no one can disprove another person's personal experience.
It's a dilemma.
