What I am asking is if a diploma is a high school no degree or high school with degree???

Diploma is highschool no degree. You get a degree when you graduate from college.

A GED if you are referring to a high school diploma.

i got 18 credit units for a performing arts diploma in the U.S, that i did in England.

G E D I think it stands for general education development, or something like that. Any school office can tell you how to go take it.
