I think the actions of Muslims speak ever so much more loudly than writings ever can...The news is filled with Muslims killing other Muslims, DAILY! What kind of religion is this that condones murder??? Muslims disgrace themselves..they need no help from us. What planet are you living on?

Because if you really get into the muslim and islam faiths you will see that they use all the good parts of faith and reject the bad ones. How can I want to study these faiths when I know in the end they will lead to wanting me dead as a free American? I don't need to know all about the makeup of lightening to know if I go out in the storm holding a metal rod it's going to kill me! Look how they live?! The horriable things they do to each other becouse they've been offended?! Oh there are a lot of Americans embracing the muslims but see what would become of their lives if they were ever to take over. Check with some of the countries they've invaded!!

I would hardly calling bombing tubes and flying planes into buildings "nothing" however I do agree with not tarring all Muslims with the same brush. Just because some delusional idiots think this is the way to practice a religion doesnt mean that all other Muslims automatically agree with what they did. Disgracing murderers is the least they deserve, dont make all the innocent Muslims pay the price though.
PS - the behaviour associated with Muslims at the moment is hardly going to make anyone convert to Islam.

The only people who disgrace Muslims are Muslims themselves, in the shape of the extremists and radicals. Non Muslims cannot "disgrace" Muslims - they may dislike them or disabuse them because of the atrocities that are carried out in the name of Islam. I understand it is very difficult to study Muslim -aren't women forbidden to touch the Koran? However, a religion which spawns suicide bombers, the stoning and subjugation of women and glories in the death of the"infidel" is hardly something worth studying.

Assuming that we are dealing with the UK, it might be fair to suggest that people there have a healthy scepticism when it comes to religion of any type.
People simply have little respect for those who wear special clothes and quote religious verse in their arguments.
There is, for example, a long tradition of youngsters laughing at the Salvation Army.....it's nothing personal.

I am not interested in studying Islam, I just saw Lord of the Rings and I am not in the mood of more fantasy.
Open your eyes: God does not exist as your or any religion portrait it. It is just common sense. Take my advice and forget your prejudices so that you can fully enjoy your (only) life.

I've said all along, if you want to know what they think, read the koran. However, if you find anything you don't like, they'll immediately tell you "you don't understand what it means" - as if we can't speak our own language!
The koran (like the bible) asks people to believe impossibilities and, at times, to behave in a cruel and vicious manner. Everybody is required to "believe" the book and no criticism is acceptable. Even mohommedans who criticise or debate anything, end up being slaughtered in sectarian violence.
The real truth is that it (like all the others) is a combination of myth and legend, political expediency and pure fiction. Not one prophecy can be proven, not one "law" just or justifiable.
The book itself is clearly the work of mohommed himself. A compliation of material from pagan arab sources plus material from the Torah/Tanach (Old Testament to xtians) and the Talmud - a book they claim to despise!
I don't particularly care whether they want to believe such drivel but I consider that the real insult occurs when they try to foist it off as truth onto other (probably better educated) races.

the media is giving a hard time to Muslims at the moment so it won't be easy for any of you. you need to assure the British that you're not trying to convert the world to Islam. that you respect their way of life, and that you reject the acts of terrorism that have been done in the name of god.
approach the British with modesty and politeness as this wins their confidence. remember that religion is important to the them, but they tend to save that for Sundays. they call themselves "British," not "Christians".

Your statement is not clear. How can people disgrace muslims? muslims can only disgrace themselves. Do you mean insult rather than disgrace?
If you mean insult then people will insult those who disrespect them and unfortunately there are a few muslims who are causing others to fear and hate muslims. Its a case of give a dog a bad name !!
Have you ever thought that you disrespect us? You come to live in our country and disrespect our ways of life by trying to impose your laws and ways. If you do not like it here then go to somewhere that disrespects women, has savage medievel laws and where the poor are not helped by rich muslims ie an islamic country.
Most of my muslim friends detest those sad b------s who have been brainwashed by Preachers of Hate. If they truly believed what they say they would stand up and proclaim their faith rather than scuttle about like rats in the dark.
Soon the majority of muslims will start to hate them as they will recognise that it is their actions that are causing grief to the majority.

Whilst most people are ignorant of Islam, I hardly think you can say 'for nothing'!
They are exposed to media coverage of Muslims screaming for violent actions against non-Muslims. They see Muslim leaders calling for the beheading of people who draw cartoons depicting their prophet, whilst many Muslim publications regularly carry the most crude anti-Semitic cartoons. They see videos made by people planning to kill as many people as possible in the name of Isalm, and boasting of it.
The image of Islam conveyed to most people in the west is of a primitive, blood-thirsty, oppressive faith, akin to the very worst of Christianity throughout history. And I am afraid that this image is reinforced by the actions of (some) Muslims.
