This is a flight with 4 different flights with 2 different airlines, they are both in star alliance so I will buy the flights as one long flight, meaning that when I check in at the first airport my bags will be checked in all the way through all 4 flights. But how do I go about getting my dog on these flights? Have anyone done this, especially since I will be buying the tickets through somehthing like Expedia.com or airgorilla.com and they do NOT have an option to add your dog. I briefly spoke with someone from one of the airlines and they said to book the flight then call to see if there was room on those flights for my dog, but I can't take that chance, I am moving to Europe and I can't take the chance of there not being room for my dog, and the tickets from the websites are non-refundable. I am baffled on what to do....

If your dog is a special services dog, such as a seeing eye dog, or the dog is with you for assistance, just let the airlines know that. They cannot deny you or the dog boarding because of that. As for the travel agent who answered before, they are absolutely correct. Forget expedia, and contact your airlines, let them know, and you should not have any problems upon check-in. Just remember to reconfirm all your flight plans at least one or two days before you fly, to be sure there are no changes, or cancellations, flight number changes, etc. Good luck and have a great trip!

It incredibly relies upon on the form of trip you're looking into. for a speedy basic flight its probable extra much less costly and much less complicated to e book on line. For something extra complicated like a visit to New Zealand, it many income you to e book with a return and forth agent. by way of fact even inspite of the indisputable fact that they charge larger reserving expenditures, they might locate you a extra ideal deal then you definately might desire to locate on your very own. Plus they'll help you with the different subject concerns that could arise.

Forget expedia.

You need a good travel agent. Notice I said GOOD! A good travel agent can book your dog's space at the same time they book yours, and you can stop worrying!

I am a travel agent and have seen my senior agent do this for clients many times. Don't try to do this yourself - as you've discovered, it can be very tricky and you don't need the stress!

Good luck!
