I haven't been to Wales or Scottland, but I was in Ireland in April 2004 for a week. It rained the whole time and was really chilly. (about 40 degrees F during the day). Dress warmly and definitely bring rain gear. Don't let the rain spoil your fun though. Ireland is really beautiful and full of things to do. In Waterford you can visit the Crystal Factory for a tour that shows the entire process from blowing the glass to cutting the intricate shapes. There are displays of trophies made for various sporting events and a replica of the Times Square New Year's Eve Ball that it dropped each year. If you visit Dingle, there is an aquarium and also a small boat ride you can take to see a live wild dolphin who has made his home in the water. If it's not too cold, you can also rent wet suits to swim with him in the bay. There are plenty of places all through out Ireland where you can hear live local musicians and enjoy traditional foods, and there are tons of shops and galleries everywhere.

Oh to be in England - now that April's here. Stick to the South of England - Canterbury, Stonehenge, Oxford, Bath, Exeter,
and Cornwall. Stay away from the North.
