I would like to hear stories from people who have been in love with someone who broke up with them? I finally met a man I loved so much and he decided he could not handle a relationship so serious. I am heart broken. Anyone go through something similar?

It isnt 'true' love unless it is returned. You felt something for this person I am sure, but you will know real true love when it is returned. Wishing you the best!

I was with my ex boyfriend for nearly 4 years. It was a very intense relationship. Constant arguing and head butting because we both were very insecure and very unstable. He ended up leaving me for another girl and got her pregnant. It killed me. But, not once did I cry. It's been about 10 months now since we have even spoken and I learned I do not NEED someone to make me happy. Being left is terrible because you feel it's your fault, rejected. But, it's made me into such a better and stronger person. Last I heard from mutual friends, the girl lied about being pregnant and he's been struggling with depression, not that I wished that on him but he got what he deserved because I am doing better than ever. Long relationships don't always have to end up perfectly but as long as they teach you something in the end is what really matters. It hurts and there is nothing you can do about that but keep your head up and know that **** ALWAYS gets better.

Yes, I am in the same situation. He said he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, then his ex gf came and asked him to get back together, and he did!!! He says he still loves me and is hurting over this, but he wants to "Move on". So, I am left with the pain while he gets to be with someone he "never got over". How unfair. It's been 16 days, and I still can't "move on". It's really hard.

More times than I care to remember......
Christina H (http://www.myspace.com/christinavirgo) - just when I thought things were going fine, and I'd gone to all the trouble of knocking together a Flash animated Valentine's card for her earlier this year, she dumped me for this ugly little freak: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=33598330

Alicia (http://www.myspace.com/aliciathepirate).... don't know what the hell's going on with her, but some of the pics on her PHOTOBUCKET albums looks a bit suspicious.

Jessie (http://profiles.yahoo.com/jcbum84)... quit talking to me a few years ago 'cos her parents didn't like me, married a soldier in the US Army...... hopefully I'm getting the last laugh (even if she's pretty second-hand now), as before he got posted abroad he REALLY put his foot in it when she went to visit him at his base in Texas, and after she'd tracked him down he told her he didn't wanna see her (after she'd gone all the way over there from Kentucky).

yes I went out with my high school sweetheart and we got serious and said he loved me and wanted to marry me but after I had his child he decided to up and split.
if the guy did this to you obviously he does not love you like he say he does and he is not worth dwelling over I know you'll feel bummed out for a few days but just hang in there and move on with your life and eventually you find someone that will appreciated you and know the meaning of true love

I think EVERYONE has. You are not alone. You will get over it. Rent "Someone Like You" the movie with Ashley Judd. Cry and then find your next love.
