It is very similar to Christianity, except their book is only the Old Testament. They are still waiting for the first coming of the Messiah, whereas Christians believe that Jesus was the first messiah, and are waiting on his return.

Jews worship the same god that Christians do. His name is God (Dieu, Dios, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH). Lots of languages, lots of names. One god. According to Hebrew mythology, this god selected Abraham to be the father of his chosen people. The nation that resulted are the Hebrews, composed of twelve tribes, one of which was the tribe of Judah, which became the Jews.
Got all that?
Jesus was a Jew. In fact, many people believe that Jesus was a rabbi, since he lived during a very influential period in Jewish history when the religion became led by rabbis or teachers. Jesus' mother was a Jew, his disciples were Jews, and many of those he preached to were Jews.
Jews worship God because he is the one god. There's really no choice there. They do not worship Jesus, because he was a man, not a god. There is one god, not two, not three, not thousands. Therefore, worshipping Jesus is like worshipping Elvis. Nice enough guy. Did some excellent work. But he's not a god, so he shouldn't be worshipped as such.

Look it up on the NET. There is too much to tell here.
I cannot believe how many Christians know so little about the Bible.
Jews worship the same G-d as Christians do. In fact-this is where you learned about G-d....from our Holy Scriptures (what you call the OT).
The main thing is-they realize that Jesus was just a man-a good man--but, just a man.
G-d is One.

They worship God, but they don't believe that Jesus is the son of God. They believe that He was just a man. They are still waiting for the messiah. But they are also God's "Chosen people". Their religion is basically 613 laws varying from dietary laws to laws concerning sacrifices. The main thing that we, as Christians, need to know is that they are lost, as with other non-believers. They need to come to a personal relationship with Christ as their savior and Lord. The bible is clear that Christ is the only way. The only source that you need for this question is the Holy Bible.
God Bless You
