If you support a criminal act, you are pro-crime. Agree or disagree. I am open to both opinions, this is a forum after all. Discussion is encouraged. But how can one say that illegals are not criminals? If they aren't criminals then why do they need amnesty?

Yes, today the Jim Crow laws are looked upon as terrible, oppresive laws, but back then they were the common practice. You have to judge things that took place in the past by the common outlook of that period.

Great point! I guess they figure they have good "reasons" for doing it. Problem is those same "reasons" don't work for everybody. If a citizen commits a crime, they go to jail. They aren't out there hiding them out in a church or saying they can't put them in jail because they have a child and it's wrong to "break-up" a family because they only robbed the store because they wanted a better life for their child. If it doesn't apply to everybody then it doesn't work. We have to abide by housing codes and cerfews and noise ordinances but they don't feel they have to. I have to have my children in a child seat or wearing a seat belt and if any of us has a large family we have to buy a bigger vehicle......but they don't have to and if you try and enforce the law they are crying discrimination. It's only them and "their" people they are concerned about. I have seen not 1 law that they agree is acceptable in enforcing. There's always a "reason" why they are exempt. It's "their" culture. That's the way they do it in Mexico. We made them have to lie. We made them have to break the law because it's too hard to abide by it. Anything. And I'm sorry but I don't hear excuses from the illegals from anywhere that doesn't speak Spanish. It's like they know they broke the law and they took a chance and well they got caught and now they have to go. I don't see this pro- amnesty LaRaza group going up to bat for any other illegal that isn't Latino and is being deported. They aren't protesting for the last plane that left for Ireland with illegals on it. They had small groups of other countries in their parades, but where are they for them now? They aren't out there DEMANDING Asian illegal rights. So yes....they are pro-crime when they are against enforcing our laws.

Aiding an Abetting or harboring an illegal aliens is a Federal Crime!
1. WELFARE Fraud is a Crime.
2. Not Paying your taxes is a Crime.
3. Working under the table is a Crime.
4. Identity Theft is a FELONY and not a victimless Crime.
5. No car insurance is a Crime!
6. Vagrancy is a Crime!
7. Driving without a Drivers License is a Crime!
8. Using stolen or fraudulent documents to vote is a Crime!
9. Using stolen or fraudulent documents to obtain a job is a Crime.
10. Using stolen or fraudulent documents to buy a house is a Crime.
11. Starting a business with stolen or fraudulent documentation is Crime!
12. Being an absconder is a Crime.
13. Putting your child in danger of the scorching heat of the desert without water or in the back of a semi-truck or in the trunk of a car, is called child endangerment and is a crime!
14. Illegal aliens don’t pay CHILD SUPPORT! Being a Dead Beat Dad is a Crime! If they aren't then why are Americans strapped with Welfare, WIC, Public Housing, Education, Medicaid for their children?
15. Over staying your Visa is a crime.
16. Entering the United States illegally is a crime!
400,000 illegal aliens did not show up for court dates for their immigration hearings. Which made them “Absconders”, that is a Crime! Instead they just thumbed their noses at the American Court System and made a mockery of our laws! That’s a Crime!
If any American tried breaking any of these laws, they would find themselves in prison and have a huge fine to pay. Just using someone else’s social security card is a felony and punishable by 5 years in prison and a fine up to $ 250,000.00!

Crime can be a matter of perspective. Jim Crow laws held blacks down for years; it was the law and going against it was a crime--but it was an immoral law and so morally speaking going against those laws was no crime.
By the same token, I consider the laws as they are currently immoral. God made humans and he made land, and He gave the land to all humans. He didn't separate it into countries, we did. How can we justify taking away God's gift from other humans simply because they weren't born between two arbritrary lines or their skin is just a little too dark for your taste.
And you would probably argue in that case that we do allow them in, but they have to follow a process--which is true. Unfortunately we've made the process impossible for them to follow. It takes years to complete at the cost of thousands of dollars. But they are starving now, they and their children do not have years to wait. And how can they raise thousands of dollars when they can't even raise enough money to feed themselves properly (or even once a day at times). They have to come illegally if they are to survive.
They help our economy, because they spend money here in actually rather large amounts. And moving money through the system is how you get the economy to grow. They also send quite a bit back to Mexico. With that money the Mexican government could jumpstart their economy, but right now they aren't trying. What we must do is send economic advisers over to Mexico to advise the government on how they can use that money to restart their economic system. When the jobs are created back over in Mexico, the illegal immigration problem will naturally fix itself.

I see where you're coming from, but there's no such thing as "pro-crime". You can't lump all crimes together. No one is for ALL crimes.
That's like saying that if you ever speed or don't come to a complete stop at a stop sign you are also pro-crime.
There is no logical breakdown when some people don't think current immigration laws are not good laws to have. 80 years ago alcohol was prohibited; it was illegal to produce or drink alcohol. A lot of people thought that was a bad law, and it was changed. Our current immigration laws aren't the ones we have always had, and they can be changed in the future.
That's what the democratic process is all about.
So I completely support your right to say that our current immigration laws are good ones. But when people support illegal immigrants, they support them because they believe the immigration laws should be changed.

They have been exposed multiple times but these illegal advocates think of morris dees as some sort of God. He is out to put money into his own pocket and really does not care about these peoples rights or any one else. Here is the part they don't get: "Americans and groups who are concerned about illegal immigration have nothing in common with groups who advocate violence against people because of race or religion." They use this disgusting group to try to discredit good organizations who fight against illegal aliens. They have listed churches, our veterans and many others as hate groups. Only a fool on either side would believe such a money hungry mongrel.

I coined 'pro-crime' on this issue in this forum.
It is accurate and it uses the tactic that the liberals use, however, I use it correctly, based on truth!
1 mile over the speed limit is not crime, but a CIVIL infraction-BIG DIFFERENCE!
The liberals yell intolerance
Why should I tolerate crime?
They yell racism
Criminal is not an ethnicity!
They tell lies about the 'plight' of the illegal
IT is of their OWN making by their CRIMES!
To be PRO-ILLEGAL MIGRANT is to be Pro-crime!
Read the VERY real list of related crimes that nearly ALL illegals commit
Being PRO-CRIME, as I coined it, does not mean that one is for every type of crime that exists, it just shines the brightest light on the situation and points out the truth of the situation!

The people who are pro-immigration would like to see the laws changed to make it so it is not illegal. These immigrants are not so much breaking the law as opposing unfair laws. This has occured throughout our history and is initially seen as criminal activity, only to looked back upon years later as heroic and the right thing to do (think civil rights movement).

That's what a Liberal does, as a rule: they buck the system... saying that this or that SHOULD NOT BE illegal.
Most of them are in favor of legalizing marijuana, too.
So, they say it's OK to smoke it because, while it happens to be illegal, the law is just wrong. And illegal aliens are somebody we should feel sorry for, because there should be no immigration laws. That's their type of reasoning-- that nobody should be told what to do.
Political moderates (like myself) tend to see both sides of all the issues... which makes it easier to see where each makes their mistakes. I don't like Liberals, and I don't like Conservatives. Their "knee-jerk" opinions annoy me.

I whole heartily agree that if you support a criminal then you are pro criminal. You are correct.Amnesty is only given to forgive a crime.
Definition of Amnesty: Amnesty for illegal immigrants is defined as the government’s pardon for violating policies related to immigration or politics. The federal government forgives these individuals for using false documentation (examples include social security numbers, identification cards and driver’s license among other documents) to more easily get employment in the U.S. and to be able to remain in the country. Amnesties allow illegal immigrants or undocumented aliens to gain permanent residency in the United States.
To apply for Naturalization:::::::
Eligibility Requirements: All naturalization applicants must demonstrate good moral character. The other naturalization requirements may be modified or waived for certain applicants, such as spouses of U.S. Citizens. Additional requirements include:
A period of continuous residence and physical presence in the United States
An ability to read, write and speak English
Good moral character
Knowledge of the principles of the U.S. Constitution
Favorable disposition toward the United States
