I certainly dont need it and would be happy to bugger it off...you know what?
It should stay in peoples houses and the children should be allowed to choose from aged 18 onwards if they want to accept the parents faith.
I do like bits of it but it pees me off with all the do this,do that,God said tripe.
Bible is great story but its just that a story.
Islam is outdated, dark, intolerant and primitive.(not to mention the nutter who invented it)

Don't blame religion for all man's misfortunes. The advent of religion to mankind has toned down what would otherwise have been a volatile world.
Religion has brought sanity to our world. Where conflict prevails, it will not be religion at fault, but man's quest for power to control others.

Problems will always pop up. Solution is in your hand. Action is in your hand. Religion is not the cause of problem. Mis-understanding is. Taking that misconception to the extent of act causes problems.
Someone said 'know thy self' for some reason.

The problem is not with your question as it may seems. it is more in the context. People do not need a "Religion". What they need is a Relationship with the heavenly Father Jesus Christ. He is the source of everything and the answer to every question.

I hate religion but people can become religious with anything. They can religiously clean their house first thing in the morning and if something interferes with that it can make them crazy. When it comes to GOD and religion it is the same way. GOD never intended for us to have religion he wanted us to have a relationship with him and accept his son JESUS. So I think "religion" is bad.

No. It is only in the face of true horror that you can find your nobler selves.
Meaning: If only most of the population would actually LIVE through extreme terror, we would be able to find a better part of ourselves. The majority of Christians are more likely never to have faced extreme terror, and so call to God to help them because they cannot find a better way to live through their lives.
Terror does NOT mean loss of a family member.
However, after true terror, there is the possibility of finding hope through God... so then the answer would be maybe.

Yes we need religion, when we are born, there are no instruction
book delivered with the baby, Babies have to learn right from wrong, and the religion gives good grounding for following whats
right. "that is to love one another as God loves us," He does
not ask ua to hate and hurt each other., We are all God's children
to be loved not abused no matter what age we are.

Nope. We don't need religion. We need a relationship. A relationship with Jesus Christ. We need to acknowledge that He is Lord and Savior and that He came and died for our sins, and He rose on the third day, defeating death and Hell. I don't really care if anyone ignores Bush or not, But DO NOT IGNORE JESUS CHRIST.
God Bless You
