What is your age? If you are under 18 there is no law prohibiting corporal punishment in the USA. Your parents, or guardians have the obligation to discipline you. Spanking is a legitimate and legal form of punishment.

If you did something wrong then yes you should be punished. No this is not considered abuse UNLESS you were left with marks! If this spanking was for no reason then there is a problem. Sweetie, talk to a school counselor! Please!

ok its not illegal to spank your child as long as your not BEATING them...there is a difference. And as long as your parent figure hit you on your bottom and no where else thats ok. But you had to do something to get that spanking.

Obviously you are a little brat that deserved the spanking. If you have no idea how to spell guardian, you have no rights at all.
I hope your spankiings continue until you are a good child. If the guardian is doing it right, the spankings are on your bare bottom.
This is not child abuse. It is a parent or guardian duty.

OK, so it is illegal, but what did you do? If you did something that could jeoperdize your health, then in my personal opinion, you got off easy. If you didn't, then no, she shouldn't have done that.
