here's a question for you. japanese writing is prononced in syllables (ka, ep, ke, ko, etc) so how would you write the word full in japanese. i can write the "fu" but how does it go with the ll.

1. ep is not one of their syllables.

2. Japanese is not a sub-category of English. They have their own words for full (such as いっぱい [ippai]) and since it's such a basic word, you'd never hear a Japanese speaker use a katakana-ized version of it.

3. The Japanese cannot pronounce the letter "l" hardly at all so, instead, they change it to r. Full would have to become フル [furu].
