Jesus must not have said anything until he was 12, because that is when people started recording what he said.

Since Jesus lived to his early 30's, I'd have to say that he probably said quite a bit that's not in the Bible. Besides, there were a LOT of other books that were candidates for the Bible at the time that the Bible was canonized. Could be lots of sayings of him in those. And really, we have no way of knowing if what's in the Bible was actually said by Jesus or not. None of the books were written during his lifetime...most weren't even written by men who knew him.

There is a book I read called the "lost books of the Bible"
it states that Jesus when he was a child, incapable of controling his gifts, in anger struck down another child who told on him for fishing on the sabbath. There was also many other strorys that was left out of the bible, because the bible was written so that religious order could dominate the people. If they had not omitted such facts, then there would have been no order. We must keep in mind that the bible is a book with wonderful messages.
And alot of those messages are metaphorical, and can be misconstrued.
I wish you well

There are other books that capture more of the sayings of Jesus if you want to look. Check the Apocrypha, the Lost Books, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Nag Hammadi manuscripts, etc. Still, I don't think you will find a really complete record of every utterance of Mr. Christ.
I don't think Friday was called Friday in first century Palestine.

John 21:25 says: "There are, in fact, many other things also which Jesus did, which, if ever they were written in full detail, I suppose, the world itself could not contain the scrolls written."
However, God has ensured that everything of importance that Jesus said or did was recorded for our benefit, as per 1 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work."

Your example seems a bit trivial, but yes, there is MUCH that Jesus said and did that are not in the Bible. There is even a Scripture that says so. But I'm not supposed to quote the Bible anymore, so you will have to look it up yourself.

The apostles penned that if they wrote down everything Jesus said and did, there wouldn't be enough books in the world to contain it all...
So, the bible answers your question.
Jesus isn't dead. He speaks to people all the time. Verbally. The world is not His, don't expect Him to reveal Himself to the world. But those who are His, hear Him.

I agree with the previous answers that definitely he said much more than is written in the Bible, because the gospels are really not big books and you can read each of them in short time, it is really not enough for a life time preaching.

Gospel According to Saint John
Chapter 21
24 This is that disciple who giveth testimony of these things, and hath written these things; and we know that his testimony is true.
25 But there are also many other things which Jesus did; which, if they were written every one, the world itself, I think, would not be able to contain the books that should be written.

I'm sure that there are lots of things that Jesus said that aren't in the bible. He was 30 odd years old... the book's not THAT thick.
