Let me say that again "Would you die for what you believe in?"

Ok, if someone put a gun to my head and told me to renounce my faith in Jeus Christ, I'd say, Jesus I'm ready to come home. So yes I would die for what I believe. Some would think I'm stupid, and to some I'd be a martyr. I believe strongly in my faith, and if it came to it, yes I would die for my beliefs.

I dont know, as a spiritual creature I realize that in order to evolve, some of my belief systems must change, so that I can take the next step of accepting the truth. There are so many out there now who are breaking down belief systems they had on the boss they worked for, or the man or woman they loved. I think what we may belive in today, may no be what we believe in tomorrow. So would I die for something I believed in, that would be hard to say, not because I lack the conviction, but because everything changes in order for it to evolve. And the very act of me dying for it, causes it to stay the same. Maybe this isnt the answer you wanted, but it was all I could give.
I wish you well

Fallen angels don't die little one ,they eat off the tree of life and not off the tree of good and evil. They block the evil from entering within their souls ,by channeling unholy thought away from the clean spirit within the soul.I see all have lost their special tools ,and are not really living at all ,This is what you must do,give and receive n thing in return. This cleans your plate you see,by giving to someone you take a blessing and give them a curse if they give you nothing back in return

No, I want the other guy to die for his beliefs, preferably from a mile away, with a round from a Remington 7mm magnum through his chest. Of course, if you hit him in the chest he'll be missing everything from his neck to his hips anyway.

Anyone doing so would be an inhumane person to leave their loved ones left behind in grief.

The only "moral" thing one should ever die for is to protect their loved ones.

isn't it easier to die for something, than to live for it?
maybe dying is the easy why out, we think God is going to say, well done kid, you did good.
rather than living for 80 years, sinning every day...that adds up to
8 7600 sins....and it's impossible to sin only three times a day! hi hi. Well, obviously we don't have to try to get into God's good books, but sometimes I wonder if we really understand what GRACE means, eh?
but as M.W. Smith sings.
"It was a test we should all hope to pass, put none of us wishes to take."
it was written for a young student who was shot in school, after she refused to deny Christ.
the second part grabs me.
he sings. " Faced with the choice to deny Christ or die, for her only one choice to make. "
U can't deny Him, when you see him, you really can't

Who wants to be a martyr? It's a special calling from God that gives a great deal of meaning to one's death.

"..and lead us not into temptation..." should be translated from the Aramaic: " ...let us not be tested..." in the Lord's Prayer. Jesus prays that we not be tested to the point of death, so I don't think God wants everybody to die for what they believe in.

For peace or for justice i would die for.
I wouldnt die for atheism, I would rather lie than die for it, its just not that important. Someone can make me say i believe in god but I doubt they can make me believe

You can jam your beliefs but you can but live one life to my memory. It's better to lie that you do not have this belief to save your life and once saved, you just go live what you believe again. I can't trade my life for a petty belief.
