I plan on using a ouija board. Everyone I know that has used one had it work. Any tips? I planned on burning 2 vanilla candles and 1 black cherry insense during the session. Do you have to have more than one player? Did the things spelled out come true?

I have used a ouija board twice. My husband has been teaching me about pagan ways, magick, and things like tarot, pendulums and the ouija board. The last time I played with it was with my husband and a friend. My husband and I took turns with using the board with our friend it's just easier to use two people no more and no less. The thing is, is that we were constantly asking the other if they were moving the seer. My husband is friends with three spirits well actually two the third is a dragon. one is a cemetary guardian (often mistaken for an evil spirit by those that can see him) and J.T. a black man he helped out of purgetory the first time he used a ouija board by himself. The dragon actually has some power behind her, she is Tiamat (and despite popular opinion that Tiamat is Satan and is evil she is not, she is just misunderstood.) Anyway's we were playing with it just to play in a shop building we own but something happened we did not expect. It seems there was a vortex in the building that had allowed an entity to come through and stir up trouble. Neither Guardian nor Tiamat had the power to stop it and they were weaker than they should have been but tiamat was still able to do figure eights on the board although they were much weaker than my husband said they could be. Now as far as ouija boards themselves, my husband has a ouija board called 13 ghosts which has 13 ghosts painted on it but my husband says he's counted more than 13.

i've never had a problem with it---i always thought that quija boards were just stuff and nonsense.

my wife had a bad experience with one once. she was at a party and a bunch of the people there thought it would be great fun to do a seance and use a quija board. she said they turned out all the lights, lit candles and put the quija board on the middle of the table.

she said that after a while the room got cold, colder than hell, and that the board spelled out "please help me stay dead". whoa! i don't know of any living person that would come up with a bizarre statement like that---so i don't think it was one of the other people playing tricks. it freaked everyone in the room out and they turned on the lights and got out of that room.

i think that i would steer clear of a quija board. they may be useless, but on the offhand chance they're not---why risk it?

I wouldn't recommend this because it opens oneself up to mischievous spirits. They seem harmless at first but can cause discord.

If it is something you feel that you absolutely must try then nix the candles and incense. Instead, spiritually ground yourself in prayer. Spend some time with this-at least 20 mins. Ask your "higher power" to protect you. Do not ask frivolous questions.
Ask for wisdom and knowledge to help you become a better person. In other words be very careful what you ask for. Be sure to give thanks to your "higher power" when you are through.

Don't use it!!! Your opening yourself up to a lot of demonic forces, and can cause alot of problems.

I agree with what someone else said, burn it. Why get yourself involved in witchcraft? Instead I'd turn to Jesus Christ, he is so much more fulfilling that any Ouija board, or any demon who would be answering your questions you ask.

Yeah, don't use one. It's not a game. You're opening the door to the otherworld. You can't control what or who comes through that door and not all ghosts and spirits are nice. You have no defense against whatever comes through that door because ghosts and spirits aren't corporeal.

one thing i do worry about in your question is when you ask should there be more than one player ?
i don't think it is a game and would worry about you doing this if you think it is
there are many reasons i would advise against using one , and not for any religious reasons but for reasons such as energy and fear having an effect on you whilst using it
but if you feel you should then do keep a good light positive mind while doing so xx

The actual pronounciation is wee-jah, not wee-gee. And no, a piece of pressboard with letters on it will not help you talk to spirits.

My tip for you; Do not to use a Ouija Board!!!!! You are opening a door to the demonic world. A door that you may not be able to shut.

Normally I would tell you to take it with a grain of salt - maybe a pound might be better. Scientifically it is totally valueless and the best use of it was in an old horror film called 13 ghosts.

I recommend having the board properly cleansed and blessed before using it; it will make things much easier.
