32 weeks of classes divided in 4 bimesters (periods of 2 months), plus 1 week at the end of each bimester for final exams. (Total 36 weeks)
The year begins usually in March. Between bimesters there's a one week recess, except for the end the second bimester that gives 2 weeks of holiday. The year ends within the first weeks of December, as the summer holidays begin.

BTW, 36 weeks of school would give around 180 days since I'm not counting the holidays. That was more than enough for me by that time.
