Shes fun to hang out with, but she copies me...and i don't know how to tell her to stop...

omg same problem.its so annoying. this one friend.......well now shes lik only 50% my friend to me cuz she got on my last nerves copies me alot. whenever me n her n another group of friends are at the mall she copies us. whenever i buy something she buys it. whenever i eat something she eats the same thing. whenever i say i like something she likes it too. god. she gets on my nerves. its not only me. she copies my other group of friends. they tell me there really annoyed too. n then she asks us to hang out like every weekend. wats her problem. in the summer she asked us to hang out like everyday practiclly. she has lik no friends. she needs to start finding more friends n stop getting on ppls nerves.

Ask her why she copies you all the time, you can also make a comment about how she always copies you. Like you go to the store and want to buy something and say "I buying this, I need some money so I can buy you a copy. or something like that. Try to tell her when she doen't copy you how great she looks or sounds and you think it is really good that she creates her own way

Start copying her. Just tell her that She is a great friend and she is fun to hang out with but you dont enjoy her doing everything you do.

Start doing things that are obnoxious and rude; you know like picking your nose, hacking into your shirt, itching yourself in all the wrong places, see if she copies those. If you feel confident about getting away with it and not getting into trouble, (this of course says you dont already do this) find something that resembles drugs, and act as if you are going to use them. When she comments about you doing these things, tell her that you were doing them to see just how far she would go to be just like you. Then explain to her that you like being around her, but she needs to be her own person.
If she is as bad as you say, others should see it too, and probably find it just as annoying as you do. Maybe recruit the help of these people.

If she's your friend you need to tell her to get her own personality or get lost.A nicer way to sat that would be to say hey,I notice that you copy evrything I do,why,Let her answer and see what she says,don't just let her say I don't know there has to be a reason.If you can break through this problem then you'll definately become better friends and hopefully she won't copy you any more.

yeah i so know what your talking about. my friend is the same way. it annoys me to no end and puts me in the worst moods. unfortunatly you have to try to subtly hint to her how much something makes you feel like an individual or how you like to be an /individual or something. and bring up in conversation how you hate when people copy you. like use a sibling or cousin and be like, to your friend, oh my sister got the same shirt as i have, it pissed me off i hate when people do the same things as me. or something. thats what i tried doing, it helped a little bit.

Avoid her for awhile, then when she asks what's going on, tell her you got sick of her copying you. Then she will either hate you forever or realize how stupid she has been.
