I have 2 boys my husband and i would love to have a daughter some day. Will i get one do you have any tips on how to increase your chances of conceiving a girl.

Please be thankful for whatever sex the child is....after two miscarriages I was so grateful my two kids were ok. Now my big kids are 26 and 30! :)
Kids are so special so just take what God thinks you should have.

Basically the theory is y chromosome sperm swims faster and is less resilient than x chromosome sperm. As x chromosome sperm is more resilient it last longer. Therefore in theory the things that affect male fertility (hot baths, tight shorts, scuba diving) affect the y chromosome sperm before they affect the x chromosome sperm. So you could try making love when you are not at your most fertile as the 'girls' will wait around longer for an egg, you (OK he) could also try the various things above. The problem is these techniques affect overall fertility and are by no means foolproof.
No I don't think you are greedy. I to would like to share the experience of being a girl and becoming a woman with a daughter. This doesn't in any way detract from the fact that I would be thrilled, daunted and amazed to look into the newborn face of a son.

Good Luck. I have 3 boys ages 9, 7 and 2. I am now 17 weeks pregnant and I dont know what the baby is. Im really hoping its a girl, but if its a boy that is ok too. I really dont think there is anyway to increase your chances. YOu can Google, I want to conceive a girl...and they willgive you way to increase your chances.

I don't think it is greedy at all. I don't really understand when people have no prefence at all! Not to say they would not want the other sex, but I think everyone sort of wants one over the other, (even just a little!)
I have heard that if you have sex before ovulation your chances of a girl are stronger. Apparently girl sperm are stronger, but slower, so they take longer to reach the egg, but will live longer inside. Therefore if you do it two days before ovulation, the boy sperm will be gone before the egg is released and the girl sperm will be on there way.

I'll start straight out ... when you figure your ready for a child ... one would assume you would only want that baby to be healthy!! Having a child with the intentions of a certain sex i believe is only a fifty fifty chance. You shouldn't want to TRY for a certain gender. If your going to have a baby, have one because you want more children. I know someone that tried for a girl and ended up with 7 BOYS! She's ok with it but still dissapointed. Think what if your mother wanted a boy instead of a girl, you wouldn't be too happy would you. Have another child because you want more children not because you want a girl. Some are only ment to have boys. it may not be possible

of course your not greedy, as im sure your happy enough with your two boys, its just a feeling that you get. I have two boys one is four and the other is 10 months and im also looking forward to having a girl in the near future so thanks for this quesrtion, it will help me too. When i look at my two little boys i always think 'if i had a daughter wat will she look like' 'the boys will take care of there sis very well' and get very excited!! So your'e not greedy as such its natural to get such feelings. Anyways good luck for a nice, beautiful and healthy baby girl!!

I don't think your greedy. It's a natural feeling. The only way to guarentee a girl is either adopt, or keep trying.

Pray! Thats what I did I prayed and prayed and prayed for God to give me a girl (I already had a boy) and it worked! You should try it. Other than that I didnt do any special conception tricks or anything.

You are not greedy for wanting a girl! Most people have preferences and if they say they don't they are lying.
