Norco is just a higher dose of Vicodin. I believe it contains 10mg of hydrocodone whereas Vicodin has only 5mg. Otherwise they are pretty much the same. They both contain acetaminophen (Tylenol) as well.

Norco, without having to read all the prescription mumbo-jumbo, Norco has the same hydrocodone-tylenol ingredients as Vicodin, it's just the amounts of each that are different. Norco, I believe, has a lower Tylenol ratio (250-300 mg's) to hydrocodone (5-10 mg's). Yes, you will feel good, and yes, it is still addictive, if you go bat **** with it.....

Oxycontin is not actually synthetic heroin, heroin is a different drug all together and is far more dangerous, it's off the street. However oxys are stronger than Vicodin to answer your question. The high is a lot stronger, especially when snorted.

GENERIC NAME: hydrocodone/acetaminophen
BRAND NAMES: Vicodin, Vicodin ES, Anexsia, Lorcet, Lorcet Plus, Norco
DRUG CLASS AND MECHANISM: Hydrocodone is a narcotic pain-reliever and a cough suppressant, similar to codeine. The precise mechanism of pain relief by hydrocodone and other narcotics is not known. Acetaminophen is a non-narcotic analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). Acetaminophen relieves pain by elevating the pain threshold. It reduces fever through its action on the heat regulating center of the brain. Frequently, hydrocodone and acetaminophen are combined to achieve pain relief, as in Vicodin and Lortab. For more information please see acetaminophen (Tylenol).
