Since Jesus Himself proclaims the Trinity, I must disagree with you on this particular point.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

The vast majority of Christians on this planet and in Heaven have accepted the concept of the Trinity.
Elohim denotes a plurality. Not more than one God, Just one, but a plurality.

Look at it this way.
1) God created us in his Image. We are tripartite beings. We are spirit, we have a soul, and we live in a physical body.

2) God is a tripartite Being. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I know this does not sit well with some denomination. But there you are!

Deuteronomy 4:35 You were shown these things so that you may know that the Lord is God. Besides Him there is no other.

Deuteronomy 32:39 See Now that I am He!
There is no one besides me.

1 Samuel 2:2 There is no one Holy like the Lord
there is no one besides you;
there is no rock like our God.

1 Samuel 14:29 He who is the glory of Israel does not lie or
change His mind.

2 Samuel 22:32 For who is God besides the Lord?
and who is Rock except our Lord?

1 Chronicle 17:20 There is no one like you O Lord and ther is no God but you, as we have heard it with our own ears.

If you want to know more of the claim that there is no God but God Himself, the God of Israel, Read all of the other Major Prophets Like Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Zechariah each says there is no one besides Him. The Holy Spirit is every word that he puts into the mouth of His servants and the Son is a title He always give to his chosen one who has accomplished the mission He gave and He let Himself be called his Father. The New Testament are words of apostles whom God has no direct communications with except Jesus and what they call Divine Inspirations only. God did not dictate to them any word they have written. The Trinity is the Catholic's invention because their organizers lead by Constantine was very much a Roman Pagan believer still attached to their mythical God Mithra thus the mysteries which themselves can hardly explain.

I agree that there is only one God who existed in three manifestations, eternal past, eternal present, and eternal future.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
John 1:1-5

Also, from a mis-quote :
And Jesus Christ was revealed as God's Son by his baptism in water and by shedding his blood on the cross --not by water only, but by water and blood. And the Spirit also gives us the testimony that this is true.
So we have these three witnesses --
the Spirit, the water, and the blood--and all three agree. Since we believe human testimony, surely we can believe the testimony that comes from God. And God has testified about his Son.
All who believe in the Son of God know that this is true. Those who don't believe this are actually calling God a liar because they don't believe what God has testified about his Son.
And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
So whoever has God's Son has life; whoever does not have his Son does not have life.
1st John 5:6-12

I do agree with this but this isn't a very helpful question because you then have the problem of deciding which God is the only one? This will differ depending upon which religious organisation you belong to.

A better question would be:

"Is there only one consciousness?"

but I guess I should ask that in a new question!

I believe in only one god, but not because the bible says so. I believe there's one god, but that we, as mere humans, cannot possibly look at god as a whole, for it is too extreme. So, we only see aspects of god. You obviously see the Christian god. I see the Pagan gods. Others see Allah, others see Mohammed, others see Buddha, and there are other who see nothing at all. We each have our own way of seeing God.

Blessed be.

Do not be confused. There is only ONE God!
* * * One, un, ein, ένας, uno, 一, 1 つ, 1개, um, одно. * * *
One God (the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit- the Trinity)
How many were nailed to the cross at Calvary to die for our sins???? Just ONE!
The following link shows different names referring to God, it does not mean there are 606 Gods.

who knows how many Gods there are
who knows if the christian God is the same as the Muslim or the spiritualist
maybe they are all the same thing .. maybe they are different
what is more important is that everyone respects the differences in beliefs despite whether they share the same God or not
but i have a sneaky suspicion it is the same God with different names

I believe there is only one true God... however, I also believe there are hundreds of perceptions of that very same presence.

"You say potato, I say potato." We've heard this phrase a million times. Isn't it funny how in print they equate to the exact same thing?

Jesus is a messanger from God, God is unique. Trinity is an invention...

The message to Moses was clear: Worship only ME, then Jesus said the same, but christians twisted everything and Quran says the same than the Torah: God is only one...

Only christians and catholics are wrong since they believe in trinity, and jews are wrong coz they think God loves only them and coz they dont accept Jesus as a God´s messanger...
