I have always been a good girl. I love my family and friends. I have values, I'm still a virgin and waiting to get married to have sex. But I still love to have fun. On the weekends I go out to parties with my friends, But I do not bring home random guys. I have self-respect for myself. Everyone tells me that I'm cute and have a good personality. But I feel like a lot of guys go for girls that will have sex with them with a blink of an eye. Are guys not interested in good girls anymore?

Yes they do, but not if they are just looking to screw.
It's the right idea to wait until you get married to have sex. Expect that some guys will not want to date you at all and that others will go out with you and seem like they understand where you're coming from and then act as if they never heard you say that you are not having sex before marraige. You're doing the right thing. Take your time getting close to guys because if you get to comfortable it can become easier to compromise your principles.
Lot's of guys want to marry a virgin... they just may not want a virgin for a girlfriend. It may take some time to find the guy that is willing to discover everything that is wonderful about you without having sex.

Yes!!! It is a good thing that you have self respect and morals for yourself. Don't change yourself for anyone. You will meet a great guy that will accept and appreciate you more than those loser guys at a party. .
I' am a virgin and a good girl too, so I know how difficult it can be but just wait and see what is out there. Remember personality overrules sex any day.

Don't let anyone make you think that you have to become someone that sleeps around and has no values to get a good guy. Guys are only interested in girls like that so they can get a piece!! A guy would not get serious with a girl with a bad reputation. Good for you that you are still a virgin, stay that way as long as you can.

Generalizations are statements of ignorance. You can never say with absolute certainty that anything is applicable to everyone.
So in short, the answer is yes, there are guys who like 'good girls' the problem being, there seems to be a profound degeneration of morality and values in our current society. This not speaking from a religious context.
Therefore, in my opinion anyway, being someone of integrity is an extremely attractive characterisitic to possess. There are certainly many guys who would be no doubt be overjoyed to have such a person.

immature men are only in it for the sex. Mature man will see who you are and what you are all about and sex is something he will wait for.
Most guys want nice girls, but they also want wild girls too. I'm not sure how old you are, but most guys want a lady in the steets and a freak in the sheets.
Sex is very important to a healthy relationship, even if it after marriage.
But what does self-respect have to do with it? You make it sound like you are better than others for not have sex yet. Well, you are wrong, you are using that line to defend your virginity.

I have a friend with these same values, and it can be difficult. She has a very active social life, but it's really difficult for her to find any guys with the same values. Since the sexual revolution, it's sort of a given that sex will be part of the dating scene. There are guys, however, who will respect your attitudes and appreciate the fact that you were committed to your beliefs.

sweetie, you are the type that guys MARRY, not the type they have sex with. hold out for a decent guy. someone like yourself. I call it the cycle of dating. look for one of the genuinely nice guys. I'm actually just like you. Let me tell you a secret: Guys as a rule, are easy. but the standard rule of thuimb for dating is that if a girls has sex on a first date the guy has NO respect for her and will NOT consider her serious relationship material. he'll get mad at a girl who WON'T have sex with him at all but he'll at least respect her for her values. what's wrong with american women is that they GIVE IN to men's demands for sex because they are so afraid of being alone. they are afraid that this cute guy is going to leave and that they will never meet any one as perfect as him again. but they shouldn't be afraid because if he really WAS perfect he would respect them for their minds as well as bodies and wouldn't be pressuring them for sex anyway. but hey, we don't live in the walgreens world. hold onto your values and your virginity. a man who truly loves you will wait for you. yes, i am willing to take the risk of getting blasted by the sexually active women on this board and even by the men, but we all know i happen to be right.
