There are a few things you can do until you take her to the vet first off make sure she is drinking water and keep her calm.I dont know what her energy level is like but even if she feels frisky keep her calm.Dont force her to eat. I have used chicken broth before with a few of my sick dogs and that gives them some nurishment. If she is running a fever you need to cool her off with a cool bath. You just treat her like you would be treated if you were sick and couldnt get to the doc right away. I wouldnt give her anything else as far as meds. She may have just eaten something that is irritating her system. Yes It might be bad but think Positive.

Please take this poor dog to the vet, it could be a serious problem. If you don't take it now, the problem could persist into something worse. Peptobismal is not for dogs, and doesn't help against blood in her stool !!! Hamburger meat and cooked rice will help, my vet recommended that for my dog when she had a blockage in her intestines. If I hadn't gotten her to the vet that weekend, she wouldn't be here today. If you can't afford it, 1) you shouldn't have her and 2) see if your vet will work out a payment plan. My vet did because she cost me $1000, but she is my responsibilty, so I payed it !! She was worth it !!!

Hmm.... first, allow me ask, is your puppy up-to-date on all her vaccinations? Your vet will assess this as good to be definite the blood is involving the autumn. Bloody stool is as a rule brought on by way of Parvo or parasites. Dogs customarily have a top tolerance for soreness, so if she yelped & cried, then she mainly used to be badly injured. Take her into the vet TODAY. Pick up the poop with a plastic bag & tie it up. Put that during a brown paper bag & take it in as a stool pattern for the vet to assess. And... for what it is valued at... puppies aren't crammed animals. They have four legs & can stroll round on their possess. They do not must be carried round like toys.

It sound like a virus. Go to a vet. Has the animal had its injection. If not you pups in trouble look for signs heavy drinking unsteady on the hind legs is the later stage. How long has the animal been sick/ What are you feeding it/What its temp/ What color are its gums/How is it pulse/do the eyes look dilated/

i think you dog mite be constipated. if you give her a hole tsp. of peanut butter. then give her just a small amount of milk. it will make her poop. and if she is constipated then you should not be giving her hamburger meat. that make it harder to poop. you can do this for a long time. i thought my dog was dieing on me. people were tilling me that i need to go to the vet. will, i made appointment. but before i went i mate an old lady in the park. we just started to talk, and we got to sissy and she told me what i told you. she was a life saver and i don't know what i would have done if i have not mate her. sissy is my life.

She could have eatin something that cut her on the inside... peptobismal shouldnt have made her bleed... i use to give my dog that because he had a bad stomach... he never pooped blood. You might want to think of changing the food your feeding it... or... if your dog is not having solid stools then it might end up having worms... you can buy worm medicine anywhere that carries pet supplies... if none of that works and the problem persits see your local vet....

If you can't afford a vet, at least call one, or the ASPCA, or an animal rights organization, and ask what you can do and what are the possible causes. Perhaps it's worms. Perhaps it's a lot more serious. Good luck.

I know you said not to tell you to take her to the vet, but... To the Vet ASAP, bloody stool is a sign of parvo virus. This can cause death within 48 hours due to dehydration!

Sorry, but the vet is your only option! If your dog is seriously sick then you should have her seen to by a vet- otherwise, she might not live, or she'll be suffering.
