Usually doctors recommend losing weight at an average of 1-2 pounds per week. It really depends on how you lost it though, and how overweight you were to begin with.

I lost 20 lbs in a month. There was nothing healthy about it, I was stressed because my then husband was taken out of our home and put in jail on 2 charges of rape. I lost weight because I literally starved myself from stress, I couldn't eat. Then I got anorexic because all I wanted to do is exercise. I was unhealthy mentally and emotionally. Unless you have a health issue, there is no reason to lose so much weight so quickly. You may want to go to the doctor and make sure you dont have some health concerns that you should be worried about.

Not enough info. Was this weight loss something that happend with no change in diet or activity?? If so, you need to see a dr immediately. Did you starve yourself?? Run 25 miles/day??? 15lbs is a little too much. 10 is pushing it...

I at one point lost 35 pounds in 3 months and my doc was concerned.....I wasn't trying to diet but had a virus raging in my system....I did recover but the doc said that loosing a lot of weight fast puts a strain on your internal organs.......so please make sure your healthy.
