People look to superheros for more inspiration than anything. Maybe Jesus was the first Superman comic, and his following got out of control?

In a way, Jesus Christ was indeed the first great superhero, he may be the only superhero that people like the Amish and other strict religious sects believe in, even to this day. The reason is that Jesus Christ actually means supreme good to the world and to all of mankind.

There were "superheros" WAY before Jesus. Just check out the mythology of the ancient religions of Mesopotamia and Greece, etc.

You're obviously not very well read. Even in the Bible, there were "super" heroes before Jesus. What about Noah, Abraham, Moses, etc? That's not even counting the thousands of years of human history before Jesus supposedly came along.
