Why not? That's exacrtly what the early Christian cult was accused of doing when the Empire was trying to wipe them out. The Christians would later turn that accusation on a number of other religious groups down the centuries...so it's only fair that it comes back around.

Cultural influences alter the preferred recipes from country to country. Germany serves with sauerkraut. Italy serves on a bed of garlic and olive oil linguini. And America goes with DEEP FAT FRIED BABY!!! Of course after being coated with a light crispy beer batter.
