Oh my gosh! totally wet 2 dry! It costs like $20 at wallmart and if it's all the way up to 30 you can make it stick straight but juse don't go all the way down to the roots and you will have volume...I've used mine every since I started staightening my hair but I have tried other products...this one is the best by far. It doesn't even fry your hair. You can even skip out on blow drying. Every girl that liek straight hair at my school has that straightener...good luck!

Remington T-Studio Collection Digital Tourmaline & Ceramic Flat Iron. Retail: $39.99 Product description: Pink tourmalines are gemstones that emit negative ions when heated. These negative ions, combined with ceramic infrared heat helps to seal the hair cuticle for hair that is smooth, shiny and resistant to humidity. This 2" flat iron features digital controls, 395 degree maximum heat, rounded-edge plates, rubber safety strip, variable heat settings, auto shut-off and a 360 degree swivel cord. Model #S-8400
This is what I us, and love. I went to the store and asked the empolyee what's the difference between the really expensive ones and the cheaper ones. I was told the really expensive ones just get very very hot. But that kind of heat is really bad for your hair. This one heats up nice and fast and flattens my hair in an instant. Love it.

I know that it may sound strange but I have naturally curly/frizzy hair. Straighteners don't work that great for me. I use a Revlon fat 11/2 inch curling iron. It gets really hot and it wont burn your hair. Also it grips very good. You wont have to worry about volume because its like a two in one. I have recomended this to friends and family and they all love this. Also its only like 14 bucks.

From experience, I am going to tell you that inexpensive hair straighteners often don't work too well. I would suggest getting one called True Ceramic Pro. You can get it for under $100 but it works amazingly, even if you have unmanageable curly hair.

I have a Revlon.. it works really good and it was about $30. Whatever straightener you get, just make sure it's ceramic because metal will damage your hair.

For my customers I recommend,Infinity by conair staightener as it is not too hot to damage hair and it is not hot enough to press hair like salon straighteners so it should leave you enough volume.(around 30$ in most drug stores)
