my best guy friend and i talk and he's like my brother. When he asked me who i liked i told him and he was like he's a jerk when the guy is really nice. Also, he asks me if i talked to him and when i said no and asked him what i should do he told me he doesn't care. Hello, he was the one that asked so why is he being angry?

If your best friend was really like your brother he wouldn't act the way he is. I think he has feelings for you but is going about it the wrong way. When my best female friend has problems I am honest with her and give her my advice. Most of the time I let her talk it out. I am always there for her. I sometimes think I have feelings for her and I know if I said anything about those feelings it might jeopardize our friendship.

Sometimes the way a guy acts around a girl vs. other guys is VERY different. Motive being to get 'something.'
So it's one of the following....
1) Your crush IS a jerk... when he's not around you (i.e. trash talks females)
2) Your 'brother' from another mother is crushin on you (guys are not usully 'friends' unless they are gay or - theyre hoping for more)
or maybe both... if youre over 13, you should stop playing dumb and fishing for obvious ego-stroking answers.

the only reason he is actin this way is because he likes you he just don't know how to tell you. trust me i have had this happen to me many of times so i know what you are goin through. and if he is goin to be a jerk tell him about it and don't just let him think he is goin to win you over like that cause he probably thinks you like him so you need to tell him that you only like him as a brother and a good friend that way he will quit bein a jerk to you. the only reason he did that thougth is cause he likes you and he don't won't any other guy to have you. trust me i use to have them all the time but now i am married to the guy i love and we have been togetger for 3 years and married for 1.

He wants to poke your pudding. He's jealous is all. Guys aren't usually friends with chicks unless they like them, want to poke them, unless they are fat girls. Gay men like women as friends too. Whats' up with that?
