Matthew 28

The Great Commission

16Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Yes it is! But how we live our lives is the best witness along with our words. People can get turned off by preaching but they don't always even realize they are taking in the message by what they are seeing. Sometimes we are the only way they will ever know God is thru us!

Yes, as Christians we are supposed to spread the Word of God. However, this does not mean forcing one's religion on someone who chooses not to listen. God will give and show us opportunities in which we can talk with someone about Him and the Spirit will also give us the words to say.
