opne question to muslims?

As we all know, the greatest threat to western civilization and culture is radical fundamentalist Islam. Every news report says that the actual number of fundamenatlists is rather small compared to the number of every day Muslims. So my question is, what will it take for the every day Muslims who all they want is to live thier life without fear of their markets getting shelled, their busses/subways being blown up etc. to rise up against these people who have turned their religion into one of the most hated in the world?

I understand I spelled open wrong. I apologize. Please do not point that out in your answers.

As far as what I have done, I signed up to defend my country post 9/11 attacks. Last I checked, it wasn't teenage mothers who call out for a destruction of the United States and its allies. I understand that every day Muslims are under attack by terrorists as well, thats why I asked the question. What will have to happen before regular Muslims stand up and fight for freedom against fundamentalists governements, and speeches in their mosques.

Yes, every religion has it fundamentalists. However, in recent years, which religious fundamentalists have attacked the United States, England, and Spain? Many easterners blame Israel for their problems but what they dont understand was Palestine was never thier land to begin with, it was Britians. And as far as the complaint of palestinians that their land was given away, they have waged war with israel to get it back and each time they lost. You don't see native americans in the united states attacking white people in this day and age.

there are muslims who are opposed to the radicals, but those true muslims are usually pacifists or are terrified of what would happen to their families if they did anything.
true muslims lives are being terrorized too.

I am a muslim and I think I would suffer in any case, the same than any "infidel" would, plus, the discrimination generated upon the actions of radicals.

So in fact, as a "every day " muslim I have to deal with the double of consecuences..still, I am not gonna give up my religion coz Allah is with those who are patient.

Imagine...I am a convert...I could have avoid all that trouble...but when u get the message and the signs u just cant ignore the truth of islam...this is life.

So I am willing to face and stand for whatever it takes u see?

That strong is my feith, coz this clear are the signs for me Alhamdulilah.

as much as Muslims try to educate people that radical fundamentalists are very small compared to everyday Muslims. And the fact that everyday Muslims are just like you and me. Muslims can't. Because western media will just keep planting ideas into peoples head that all Muslims are terrorists. I've said it many times and ill say it again. Western media LOVES terrorists

Muslims are suffering because they have left practicing Islam. Not altogether, but lots of teachings of Islam have been ignored in favor of cultural traditions.

Muslims need to revive their faith. I as a muslim, can easily notice a spark in the current generation of muslims who are much more willing and eager to learn about their faith.

This is also due to the fact that now a days information is easily accessible to everyone who wants it, and its easy to sift out the correct information and drain all the propoganda.

Another very important point is that because of video sharing websites people who previously only depended on their TV channels to disseminate information to them are now well aware of what is actually going on. Still more of them need to be aware of the facts but for sure video sharing websites have really helped the cause.

good question. there are everyday muslims that fight the terrorism. Not all muslims are terrorists...but the media fills people's head all around the world that any muslims is a terrorist. just think about it..... when you hear the word "Terrorism" whats the first thing that comes on to you mind? i guess the answer its a muslim or an arab...

some muslims fight for their famly,their money, their own blood, and their country... they are not terrorists.. they are just like any other people who are defending their country while its getting invaded and their oil is getting stolen, and their families being tortued and raped...what would you do if your country is being invaded and all the above is happening to you? i bet you'll go crazy and wanna kill every single one of them.....

however people who blow up themselves to kill other innocent people are all wrong... and its a sin in islam to commit suicide, and to kill innocent people.

How about world hunger, Aids, Corruption, teen pregnancy, Cancer, Diabetes, Drug abuse, Violence in schools, Global Warming, Resources consumption, Pollution, Acid Rain... Buddy there are bigger problems in the world.....................What have YOU DONE to resolved them???
