Do they have different expirations? (licors and liqueurs)

I know they last a long time, but is there a point in which they either are not safe to drink, or simply lose essence? And there is a difference in time period between the time something loses its taste and is no longer drinkable at all.

I have been always intrigued by this. (I want to build a bar, so I want to buy the ones that last longer first).

"Unopened bottle of spirits and liqueurs last almost indefinitely. Once opened, however, they slowly deteriorate. Some connoisseurs insist that oxidation in an opened bottle of spirits causes it to decline in quality after six months. However, the decline is usually barely detectable until a year or more has passed.
Liqueur bottles need checking more frequently; any deterioration generally first becomes apparent three to six months after opening them.
To slow the deterioration of spirits or liqueurs, transfer unused portions into smaller bottles so the liquid fills the neck. Less contact with air helps liquors last longer."

It depends on the type of liquor. There are none that become unsafe to drink, but many will lose their flavor and potency after a while. It takes a long time, though.

Also consider their exposure to bright light or the sun. This can also deteriorate liqueurs and also colognes and perfumes!
