Does Yahoo Answers ever proof read some of the violations reported before sending out a violation notice?I replyed to one that said best vidieo ever and it was a guy puking over and over again. My reply was A dude puking wow some people are easily amused. Violation for that wow they need to do a double take and if you don't want to know the truth don't ask the question.

Good question.

I doubt very much that they bother. I´ve had several violation notices and appealed against each one, but never recieved and reply from Yahoo, nor were my answers reinstated as I´d requested.

I have sometimes wondered that, as I once got a violation notice when I answered a question honestly. I sometimes wonder who, out there, reports abuse as a means to get revenge(even though that, technically, is against community guidelines by and in itself). And you do raise a good point- you really have to expect all sorts of answers from people when a question is asked here. It comes with the territory.

i could no longer agree extra, even when I've asked for a proof, the only answer i'm getting is 'Please state why you think of you mustn't get a contravention'. I actual have even asked Yahoo to enable me understand if the violation stands,or if cancelled to grant me an apology. No success yet!
