having a baby has nothing to do with being a whore. you would only be a whore if you were with many guys and got pregnant. but that isnt you, you are engaged and taking care of the situation.

I don't think you are a whore, slut or anything. I just think you are too young to have a baby. Later on in life you will agree with me. I had a friend that she too had a baby at 16 and then got pregnant again at 17. Married at 19 and now divorced at 20. You and your bf should continue with school and get your hs diploma. Then go onto college or some trade school. I don't know what you consider a good living. It is great that you are both supporting the child. That is important. But remember you are young and when you get older you just might want to go out and have a life which now you can't do.

We all make mistakes. Don't listen to people who judge other people because they are doing it themselves.

I consider the term, "whore", to be used for prostitutes and those that just give themselves away every time they go out with a guy.
As for a girl who becomes pregnant because of a sexual encounter, I consider her misguided. Either she did'nt know that she could become pregnant, or she knew about birth control and did'nt use it or did'nt use it properly. A mistake was made in the end, because she was not planning on getting pregnant, but did anyways. It's an expensive lesson to learn, being that the baby is very demanding both financially, physically, and emotionally.
As long as she learned from this and does'nt repeat the same mistake, more power to her.
Good to know that you've accepted your situation and that the baby will benefit from your full attention. Just make sure the next child is a planned one. Best of luck.

I don't think you are a whore. You probably think that other girls think you are, but they may not be as emotionally mature as you are. Personally, I think you could have waited longer and given yourself some time to enjoy your youth more, because as you know, having a child is a huge responsibility. Just be good to your baby and your soon to be hubby and I wish you the best. Also, try to get a good education. There just isn't a minimum wage job out there that will support a kid.

It depends entirely on the circumstances. The description of a whore is a women who sleeps around with other people for money. So unless a girl got pregnant on the job, she is not a whore at all.

I don't think of those girl of whores. I just think they should have waited if it was intentional since at 16 you still have your whole life ahead of you. You probably want to get more education, travel maybe, still have fun teens years, not so much responsibility. If it was by accident well nothing can be done about it, so accept the fact and do the best for yourself and the baby.

I do not think of them as whores at all. Whore is a name for prostitute, and that is certainly not the case.

I think people are hooked on their convention that under 16 is far too young to be pushing yourself into being a mother and an adult. Adulthood is a bit rubbish really, why rush into it.

That's not the same as saying they'd be poor mothers, they won't be as they will have the same motherly bond and love as most moms do.

No, but I feel really sorry for you. I became a father at age 21, six months before my wedding. It was all good for a long time, but we started to realize how much we had cheated ourselves by rushing through our engagement and courtship. It would have been great to have traveled or just enjoyed living together without the requirements of being parents before we were spouses.

You also are going to have a hell of a time helping with homework judging by your atrocious grammar and spelling.

no....I just think you tossed your entire childhood away due to an ignorant and uneducated move.

you can't have a good job or good money at 16, impossible and what you make, even both of you, is not even 1/2 of what you will need to raise this child properly.

Kiss your "child days" goodbye cause now you are an adult and have to work to support a child. Your life is no longer about you.
