It's a lovely place to go, we stayed in the Asia hotel in Bangkok which was the only hotel in the world where the MRT (Sky-train) went from the second floor. If this is your first trip and I made the mistake of buying all new clothes to go in, (I'm from UK) if I get the chance to go again it will be with the clothes I stand up in and I will buy out their. Things are very cheap, but you must bargain,They expect it, it's the normal way to trade. But beware, they push very hard to sell as much as they can. About three miles out of Bangkok we went to a market, it was huge, took us all day and we still didn't see it all. The weather is hot in the low thirties. And the natives are friendly.
Have a good trip!!!!!!!!!!!

June is the rainy season, it will rain for an hour or two every day the rest of the time it will be warm, but probably overcast a lot.

The market mentioned in the previous post is called Chatuchak. Go on a sunday but go very early in the morning it gets very hot and crowded

Yes, it wil be very hot and sunny as always. In December, it is slightly cooler, but still hot, but only the locals can tell the difference.
