There is this guy who I really like & he has been in my classes in every semester of college.. The first time I saw him, we locked eyes for a few sec. We just made eye contact but never talked to me. I decided to ask him a Q. I thought that maybe he was going to talk to me but never did. Thinkin that I wouldn't see him again, i prayed to God everyday to give me a sign if he is worth my time. Now,he is in 2 of my classes! & just stares at me a lot.when I look at him he turns away. I finally had some courage to ask him a Q, he looked surprise. He hasn't talked to me, but he still keeps looking at me. I thought he was shy b/c he doesn't talk to people much. Now my hopes are fading bc he is now asking Qs to this girl who is very pretty& she gets nervous when he talks to her.i think she likes him.Im sad &confused bc i don't understand why wouldn't he talk to me, he has been in several classes with me. He just stares at me,eye contact, that's it. Now out of nowhere he's talking to this girl!

If he makes extensive eye contact with you/ stares at you he probably really likes you. Some people are just extremely shy and as a result get very nervous when talking to someone they like and it is thus difficult to approach them.
It might just be that he is asking the other girl questions because he isnt interested in her and therefore not as nervous in talking to her as he would be to you.
Me personally, im very shy and when i like a girl i often will make extensive eye contact but have a lot of difficulty trying to approach her. Even if she did casually ask me a question, it would still be hard to approach her afterwards.
In my opinion if you want something to happen, either give it more time or simply be A LOT more forceful and take charge of the situation and maybe be a bit more direct than just asking a question

I think deep down in your heart you already know the answer. But try this and see if this works. Continue to be nice to him and always say hello to him when you see him when he starts looking at you talk to another guy in class. See if this works and wear something nice to class and spruce yourself up more so when he stares at you next time maybe he will build up enough courage to come talk to you. Oh when he stares at you dont stare at him back. Good Luck

I am sorry gal, I think he likes the other girl more, but he finds you
interesting, however, he could be shy and too nervous to talk to you. Just wait until he makes the move, but in the meantime
smile, be modest, act smart, and be yourself with a little flirt!

You don't really know this guy. He may not be anything like what
you are thinking. He seems to be playing a game with you. Give
him the cold shoulder the next time he makes eye contact. If he
is really interested he will come calling. If not mark him off your
list.
What is it about him that "You really like"? Do You even know his name? Always be carefull, ok?

Maybe they're just friends...But he don't know that she likes him like that...but if you guys lock eyes and you thought there was a conection then there must of been one...Don't just ask him a Q start a conversation. You'll get him just get to know him. You'll be okay just give it some time....I know you can do it.

He sounds like he has more problems than answering your questions..I might be a little leary of someone who just stares at me but does not talk to me. You should always think twice in a situation like this..look elsewhere.

i think he does like you and is trying to make you jealous, he just cant find the words, maybe he's intimidated by you. Your probably to hot for him, that's what he might be thinking, give him the time and complement him on something. Good luck

maybe he's schizophrenic and in his mind you and he are communicating telepathically, and frankly he's getting a leetle tired of the chit chat. He's going to start wearing tin foil on his head to block you out.

Probably because he's nervous, he might just be friends with that other girl, hence making it easier for him to converse casually.
