David Israel... you are still one of God's chosen people... you just now have a new title... Christian... I am of The True Christian Faith as well... you however will have a special place in heaven... as one of God's chosen people who chose Him while so many others of his people remain blind to The Way, The Truth, and The Life.

No one of The True Christian Faith ever has, and never will, turn against God... many have slipped on the path of The Way and fallen back into the worlds way for a time...but none have ever turned from God to the loss of Salvation... that would require becomeing an enemy of God... No one who knows The Truth will ever slip that far from God... Any one who says they were once a Christian and now are not is wrong in their belief... There is no such thing as an "ex" christian...You either are or you aint... and if you are you will always be... by choise... No one rejects The Truth when they truly know it.... Once Saved Always Saved...

Oddly enough, I get what you're saying.
No, I would never reject Him. I'm glad you were able to resist the temptation to give Him up. I'm sorry that your family is not understanding. It must be difficult to deal with. But do not worry. God will bless you for it. He said, "He who will accept me will I proclaim the name of to my Father, but he who denies me will I also deny." You know He exists and stand firmly in your belief. You have a strong faith. That is good.
I understand what you're saying about the Jewish faith also. I'm not absolutely certain what they believe, but I know that Jesus Christ was Jewish, and now they do not believe in Him? Is that right? I can't remember if they don't believe He existed at all, or if they think He was just a prophet or some teacher. Anyway, the point is that no one, especially your family, should shun you for what you believe...and hopefully they will realize this and they will be more understanding and let you back in.
I will be praying for you and your family.
God bless!
Much love in Christ,
Sassa

Lets look at things this way - I am a citizen of the three physical dimensional (plus the fourth dimension being time) cosmos which itself may be one cosmos in the multitude of multiple dimensional cosmos (plural).

My cosmos contains my universe which contains my local cluster of galaxies which contains the Milky Way Galaxy (My Galaxy), on one of the outer peripheries of one of my galaxy's spiral arms is Sol (my star) which contains my planet Earth which contains the continent of Asia which contains my country India which contains Karnataka - the state in which I currently reside in, which contains my city of residence Bangalore which contains the suburb I live in, which contains the street I live on, which contains my house.

My universe is estimated to be around 10-15 billion years, old, my star -Sol or Sun a middle aged second generation 5 billion year star, life on my planet is estimated to have evolved around 3-4 billion years ago, my species around 2-4 million years ago and I'll consider myself fortunate if I live even for one-tenth of a millennium.

On a cosmic scale, even my galaxy may appear as just a blemish and may be unnoticeable in the fabric of space, and I would not even be the size of a speck- but - the ripple that I (any human) could cause in the still waters (the cosmos) could change the course of history, of space of existence/s. So why should I limit myself to a country or a race or a caste or a religion or a continent or a creed (narration intentionally not in order)? As I said - I am a citizen of the cosmos, or a multitude of cosmos (plural)

There can never be anyone else like me at this point in space in this given instant of time ever. I am unique (and so is every other creature!).
Oh! The Creator of these wonders! I thank thee!
Life's Lovely! Love & Live Life!

It's not something any of us would like to do. Unfortunately, even Peter denied Jesus due to fear of man. But he showed true repentance, and Jesus' later dealings with him showed that he had been forgiven. Jesus said that we'd be disowned by friends and family for becoming Christians. But look at it this way - you've gained a much larger family.

What a statement of faith! What more could one say and do that would show the realness of ones faith? To stand with everything you have ever known on the line and reject it all for the Promise of God.

I was a 100% soul-given devout Christian for the first half of my life -- there was never a question or doubt, and I was studying to enter the seminary even.

I'm now an atheist.

So yes, it's possible to go from being a set-in-stone life-certain Christian to something non-christian.

I could never dream of having Jesus out of my life, he's my rock on which I stand on. There is no one like him, without him, I'm nothing.

Please don't reject Jesus. He is more valuable than riches or family. Please look up in your Bible Matthew 10:28, 31-33, 37.
Personally, I would not reject Jesus, too. My eternity with Jesus is worth more than family acceptance, or earthly riches.
Please visit one of your local churches of Christ for more information on this subject.

Forgiving sins is a childish philosophy

If I commit a murder and repent before police and accept their chief as my lord and saviour..will they not punish me?

Karma theory cant be overlooked..we have to face the consequences of our sins...no saving by any one
