If you don't wash it out every night it will cause build-up and discolor your hair and make your hair loose vitamins and nutrients it needs to grow and stay healthy and shiny

I really think you have to wash your hair after using gel, because it really damages the hair and scalp, and results in either thin hair or dandruff, or both. And no, you cannot splash with water, best to use shampoo... Same goes for hair spray.
Do leave your hair to relax for a few days after all the chemicals in hair products, after that, try some hair conditioner and leave it over night. do this every once in a while, it'll give your hair a break from all that gel and spray!

I think you should, cause for a while I used gel & I keep putting it on without washing it, & it just turned in to a mess. & it was hard to wash out, & it made m hair come out.
My hair is uneven on 1 side because of that, but it's not that noticable.
But just wash it out so all of that won't happen to you.

Uhh, are you sure you've got the right mindset?
Hello, if you're living in a subdegree environment, it won't matter much if you don't even put water on your hair.
But knowing how much this blasted world is warming, I assure you that before you can shout "Hell!", your scalp will be dusted generously with dandruff.
Don't be lazy and start moving.
March to your shower.
Turn on the water.
Wet your hair.
Lather shampoo on hair.
Scrub hair and scalp really well.
Wash.
Wash.
Wash.
Wash.
Wash.
Leave hair to air-dry.

Well I would. I would also use a clarifying Shampoo about once a week. This will help get all left over residue out of your hair.

If your hair does not feel dirty then it probably isn't. right now you are washing your hair at the rate that everyone should be washing it If it dosen't itch then don't sweat it...
