how you want your hair done - i need ideas. I have blonde hair and want ot get it highlighted I think more reddish - coppery - gold, how do i tell my hairstylist what i want so i don't get some crazy color?

Either bring in a picture or ask them if they have any swatch books to show you. All of them (who do color) keep swatch books. So then just give them input on what you want by pointing out hair swatches. Plus it saves you from having to look for a picture.

its always good to bring something visual able in so the hair stylist knows exactly what you want other wise you could miss communicate and end up with a different type of red or gold color compared to what you thought was red or gold.

Describe what you want as best you can. The best thing to do is to find a picture (or more than one) that looks like what you want and show it to them. If you can't find exactly what you want, find something close to it so they'll have a general idea.
