use the neutrogena dandruff shampoo...it works a lot better than head and sholders. if you are turned off by the smell...use the neutrogena first, then use one of your favs seconds.

dandruff isnt flakes for one;its dry skin. its a sign that youre scalp is dry and need of moisture, which is why you can never fully get out the flakes and why your head is itchy. snip off the split ends or they will keep on splitting up to the root of the hair. use good moisturizing and cleansing(without stripping natural oils)shampoo and conditioner (dove is a great choice) and dont heat style it often; maybe up to 4 times a month if really needed. try to not color hair and leave it down most of the time to avoid breakage from ur ponytails and dont overbrush hair, it causes major split ends and breakage.

you can always use Nizoral shampoo it costs about 7$ @ reg pharmacies. as dandruff is often due to a fungus, nizoral will help you restore your scalp balance.
