My friend, reading the Bible...even memorizing it would not make one a Christian. In fact, one can even become a Christian without having read more then a few verses. The first link below will explain the only way to BE a Christian.
To answer your question, I believe a Christian could take someones life if he or she was defending someone that was not able to do so themselves. For example, were a Christian able to go into the Amish schoolhouse, it would be justified to shoot the one that did kill those children before he could have done so.
Christians are also called to be wise stewards or managers of all that God has given us..and this includes the environment. For us to waste what God has given us would be the same as if we gave someone a valuable gift just to see them destroy it. I know it would not make me happy....

that's advisable to lease the Penn & Teller tutor on the atmosphere. It seems that the belief of no longer having adequate landfills is a fallacy made up by way of a central authority valid who needed extra money for his company. It additionally seems that processing quite some fabric to be recycled makes use of up greater power and is greater high priced than throwing it away and coming up greater cloth. It additionally seems that the belief of having landfills being undesirable for the atmosphere is yet another fallacy. that does no longer propose that no longer something ought to be accomplished. extremely worldwide warming is actual and we'd desire to guard greater power. yet this has no longer something to do with faith or spirituality. there is not any reason Atheists and Theists shold have diverse comments in this rely. the certainty which you think of it is going to shows a loss of forethought on your section. There honestly is one section the place the thought of atheists might come into play -- despite the fact that if it is going any other way. a modern-day checklist by way of scientists conjectored that microbes are possibly to evolve to a factor the place they are going to consume plastic and injury down all that trash which you think of would be there continually. Christians who have faith in creationism could by no skill think of that.. i do no longer concern for the Earth -- it is going to survive us.

DON'T present the events in Irac as a WAR between Christianity and Islam. WHO EVER has this point of view is a BIG IDION and IGNORANCE. What happened in Irac or Afganistan was't done in the Name of Christ, was't started in the Name of Christ.
SO, where did you see Christians killing others. CAUSE I HAVE't seen true Belivers killing other people. What I see, that representatives of OTHER so called religions are killing innocent people just like that!!!!
READ your Bible first. And Get Saved!!!

There was a time when God used His people on earth to mete out justice when he saw fit. But that was thousands of years ago. You're absolutely right, we are to love our neighbour. That is why Jehovah's Witnesses don't go to war, and we follow Jesus example in showing love by sharing with people the good news found in the Bible.

Christians have been killing people who did'nt agree with them from the very start...In the 1600's they killed some 150,000 people because they thought they were a "witch". Mostly women. Many burned alive ! Nice people, eh ?

(Deuteronomy 13:6-8) "If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or thy wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other Gods which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; namely, of the Gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth unto the other end of the earth, thou shalt not consent unto him, nor harken unto him; neither shalt thou conceal him but thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage."
God has commanded. It is ours only to obey.
