I have never come across the type of info you are looking for being summarised. However, I'll give you some times of direct flights taken by myself or my friends over the last 5 years or so :
Heathrow to New York 7 hours
Heathrow to Phoenix 9 hours
Heathrow to Los Angeles 11.5 hours
Heathrow to Reykjavik 2.5 hours
Gatwick to Antalya 3.5 hours
Luton to Athens 3.5 hours
Heathrow to Moscow 3 hours
Heathrow to Mumbai 8 hours
Heathrow to Nairobi 8 hours
Jo'burg to Heathrow 10.25 hours
Heathrow to Sydney 23 hours
Bangkok to Heathrow 10 hours
Heathrow to Jeddah 6 hours
Heathrow to Bahrain 6.5 hours
Flight schedules will schedule between 30 and 60 minutes on top of the actual flying time to allow for delays (most delays occurring because of too many planes at an airport or too much wind once flying). Flying west typically takes longer to fly than flying east. Domestic flights within the UK typically take 30-45 minutes.

I think Expedia.co.uk will allow you to filter options by flight time if you want to avoid a long flight. If not they will tell you how long the flight time is from departure to arrival, including transfers.
As a guideline from London:
East Coast USA - 8hrs
West Coast USA - 11hrs
North Africa - 3-4 hrs
Canaries - 4 hrs
Egypt/Mid East - 4-6hrs
SE Asia - 12hrs
Australia/NZ - 22-27 hrs
South Africa - 16hrs
If you can try to book flights that will get you to your destination during the morning as this will give you the best chance of beating bad jetlag. The daylight will help your body clock adjust, especially if its an overnight flight and you can get some sleep on the plane.

Hi Angel D
That's a simple one if you log on to a travel site find where you would like to go and flight times will be displayed try something like www.firstchoice.co.uk or www.thomsonfly.com who are doing some cheap deals at the moment.
Most flights over Europe take between 1.1/2 to around 4hours
Don't forget your medical insurance or use a government medical centre it pays to find out when you arrive
have a good one

usually if you go to a website like travelocity and you insert potential destinations it will give you how long the flight takes, along with prices. Don't know of a place with a chart, though you might be able to google it. Have fun.

Just go on to various airline or travel agents etc, look up your destination and you should see the flight times. Or pop into your local travel agent and pick up various books and usually in the back you will see the destinations and flying times etc.

Go to Expedia.com and try to book a flight (without checking out or paying). The flight times will be there. Remember that it's usually an hour shorter when you go eastbound
