I have side swept bangs, and naturally curly hair. I pretty much always have to straighten my bangs or else they'll be curling and sticking out all over the place. But my stupid bangs aren't cooperating lately. Whenever I straighten them, they curve the wrong way. I want them curving away from my face, but they always bend inwards. It's driving me nuts, and nothing I do fixes them. The more I try, the more crazy they get. Ahhh please help, how am I supposed to style them so they go the right way?!

Just sleep with bobby pins in your hair.
Nice and simple.

Alrighty. I have curly hair and side bangs too. So what i do is striaghten my bangs with a flat iron, blow dryers do not help me much. If I use a blow dryer, it curves my hair toward my face, which looks horrible. So after i straighten it (FLAT IRON) if they aren't positioned like i want them to be, i just use a bobby pin to put them where i want. BUt if you want another way to use your bangs pin them up, like above you eyes on top of your head so it sticks up a bit. If you have really curly hair it looks awesome!!It works pretty good for me, hope this helps!!!

I'm not sure how well the first person's answer will work (OK, probably not at all- how can smoking affect the way your hair curls? That's just too ridiculous for me to believe.)

But I had the same problem. I suggest that the next time you take a shower, brush your bangs in the way you want them to go, and it will usually dry that way. Worked for me. Or, you can try using a curling iron, if you haven't done that yet.

You are defenitely due for a bang trim when cut the right way your hair should respond to the style you had your stylist put in fi your hair does not cooperate then you do not have the right cut for the style you want.

You could try a straightening shampoo then blow dry your bangs the way you want them to sit. Spritz a little extra hold hairspray to keep them in place.

first, you want to take more than a dozen sheets of paper towel, wet them slightly under the faucet and apply a smidgen of vaseline. Then wrap the towel around your bangs and secure with a towel in place for about a half hour. Be sure to get lots of humidity (go outdoors) during the half hour, so if you smoke that iwll help. Then remove the towel and paper towel and VWA-LA! u'll look like new.
