I have some delicious home made boisenberry beer I'm drinking watching football.
I am watching Michigan State where I went to college. I had some fries with honey mustard and salmon.
I'm an atheist. For me, this is a religious expirience.
This is what I look forward to, friends and family, good drink and good food.
Is this my church as an atheist, my temple of worship and love?

They dont serve beer at Church because if they did there wouldnt be enough room for all the parisioners and they would have to hold the masses in the very football stadiums that you are watching the games .... seems like a lose lose type deal. :-))

My temple is in my home Jim and I am a Christian. I think they should serve a nice merlot at communion and you should get more than a tiny sip. The apostles drank from a chalice why not the average believer?

You can do whatever you please, regarding drinking wine or beer.
However, Christians drink wine during communion because it is backed by two thousand years of tradition. Specifically, they drink red wine because it represents the blood of Christ. It therefore has very strong symbolic meaning for Christians.
