People practicing polygamy in the name of Mormons are not Revised Mormons or the Reorganized Church of LDS. They are now called the Community of Christ because they no longer follow the Book of Mormon.

Splinter groups from the main Church body are those practicing plural marriage and are subject to civil law prosecution. Those still members of the Church that practice polygamy are immediately excommunicated.

It is the splinter groups that give the LDS Church a bad name and the media keep the hype and the misinformation going strong.

President Wilford Woodruff, in a revelation received in October 1890, subsequently denounced any further practices of plural marriage within the church.

Those practicing plural marriages in the Western U.S. states may think they're Mormons, but they're not. Civil authorities, for whatever their reasons, aren't cracking down on these lawbreakers fast enough to suit me.

Either way, You can't say you follow Jesus if you believe in Polygamy. Jesus and Paul taught one Wife, that's it. Also the Mormons believe that in heaven you will continue to be married. This is also not true according to the Bible, which they claim to believe. Jesus mentioned

Matthew 22:30 (New International Version)
30At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.

Mark 12:25 (New International Version)
25When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.

So can anyone tell me I'm wrong here...?

It's hard to keep up with all these religions that change over the years. Just pick a belief and stick with it!

I've lived around mormons most of my life. They are despicable, awful, self-absorbed people who will band together to destroy those in the community who believe differently than they do. They are worse racists and bigots than the Nazis. There should be a bounty on them.
