It's not about the violence, it's about the news. Blood sells. If you report on 140,000 Americans in America, you will have about the same death rate and a higher injury rate. If you were reporting on Arab car accidents, you would find more deaths from that cause than fighting. The news isn't balanced because it doesn't give a marker on if the death rate in Iraq is higher, lower or average for that many people. Since most major publications are liberal, I think they are doing this on purpose.
I wouldn't call it an increase of violence since they still haven't beat the average death rate in the U.S., which would be about 3,920 deaths statistically for 140,000 people in 3 1/2 years.

I don't think that the terrorists in Iraq are too awfully concerned with what party is in charge. The increased violence is just to send us a message, which I'm interpreting as "Get the hell out!" Terrorists and extremists don't prefer one American political party over another, they hate us all.

it is what i imagine ...... if you're right here and that i do not provide 2 hoots a thanks to procure right here - in case you dedicated a criminal offense - YOU DO THE TIME. I HATE staring at crap like speeders and **** and watch this woman get off cuz she flirted with the cop or some dude get off cuz he knew the cop - its bs. in case you do the crime - YOU PAY. Its should not be as a lot because the cop both - in case you do something incorrect - you pay. PUNISH the crime no longer the man.i do not care if the man is a cop or Paris Hilton or Hulk Hogan's son. guidelines might want to be instantly throughout the board in ALL states. they might want to be equivalent to the crime and needed - NO parole, NO pardoning.And for god's sake once you've a regulation follow IT TO THE LETTER!!!!!! unlawful immigration is prohibited.Why are not our legislators getting this?????? Coasty - I knew some too - its humorous how they brag and its soooooooo authentic they don't imagine gringos comprehend what they say, they don't. they don't get that some persons do :)

despite what bill o' reilly and tony snow would have us believe, anyone who is able to objectively look at the situation will be able to cut through the crap and realize that they are looking for any way to stop the republicans from losing the House. violence for all the years that we have been over there is suddenly supposed to be interpreted as a way for fundamentalists and extremists to sway the midterm elections over here? c'mon.....
i could go on and on, but i would like to think that most people are smart enough not to fall into this trap. then again.....

Iraq doesn't really care. They just want us to leave. Republicans are reaching for a reason why they're gonna lose control in Washington. The reason is the last 6 years of Republican christian-right holier-than-thou failed policies on so many fronts.

terrorists in iraq dont care about parties, they just want to kill americans period. if ppl would think for themselves n not just go along with what the media tells you, you would know that there is more to the war just just politics. ppl are losing their lives for stubborn political stratagies. ugh same questions over and over...DO SOME RESEARCH!

I'm sure that's their plan; they sit in their meetings and figure out which Democrat is running behind in the polls, then they go out and kill a few Americans so that person can talk about it.
