I'm single for 2 1/2 years and my last 4 attempts to have a girlfriend ended through rejections. I'm not ugly or stupid, but I don't know what to think any more. Am I unlucky or....... ?! I need some help. Thanks.

hey,just take a chill pill,i have also been through this kind of a phase but only a positive attitude can sail you out of it.nobody's lucky or unlucky but the circumstances make us believe so.don't get bogged down by your situation.

You have to increase your attempts. If in two years you only attempted to date four girls, you have failed yourself. Think of dating and relationships as the lottery. If you don't play you can't win, and the more you play the more chances of hitting the jackpot.
If you are fearful of talking to girls, then practice talking to women at the grocery store, video store, fast food restaurant, bank, etc.
Also, never think of having a girlfriend as being the best thing that can happen to you, never doubt yourself because you can't get a girl, because that will become what keeps you from gaining the confidence needed to obtain and sustain a decent relationship.
In essence, take more risks. You're bound to find one you like and one whom also likes you if you increase your attempts.
Women outnumber us, that means that there are more women than you can imagine out there who are looking for a person like yourself.

Do things to build up your confidence (but not too much-- too much confidence is a turn off too). Start working out-- makes you feel good about yourself. Join some sort of club or something that you're good at and make some new friends. Also, don't ask out girls who seem like they are not on your level. Listen to your gut.

Maybe you need to find a girl who likes the same things you do! Don't just ask them out, get to know them more and befriend them, then when she seems to show some interest, ask her out!

maybe this 4 last attempts were girls that like "bad boys"..so don't worry,,you aren't unlucky ,,,,there is someone out there for you...just have patience ,,;,when you least expect it ,,that special girl will appear......
