One doesn't technically negate the other UNLESS that one IS the real deal. If Christianity is true, then yes, it's proof that other people are misguided by feelings (or their perception of reality). The same can be said of Islam. Again, one doesn't negate the other UNLESS it's the right religion. And it would negate all other trains of thought on the subject if it's true.

Whatever Religion you follow is going to allow you to feel that it is the only way to go but most religions are very confused and believe in many false gods. Christianity is the only true relihion through the death of Christ and all the miraculous things he has done.

Faith is faith.

Once you've accepted one faith in your heart, it's near impossible to conceive how another belief system could possibly be valid.

History itself, however, helps some. There's a HUGE difference between the life of Christ and that of Muhammed.

That's the difference. Christianity isn't based on feelings it's based on truth. And only truth

What it proves is that thaere are many sides and opinions to religion and since none of us have spoken directly to God to ask him if we are right, then everyone should be a little more tolerant and let others believe what they will.

that's one argument that they sometimes used.

Are you smarter than einstein? He believed in god, so unless you're smarter you should too. Not realising that intelligence does not equal infallability. Yes Eintsein was smarter than me at physics, but could he make a holy wafer sandwich as tasty as mine?
