Here's a good news...My cat is a strictly indoor cat. Somehow he got Fleas and I have been battling with fleas for months. Last Friday I took my cat to the Vet, and I personally requested Revolution for flea control, ear mites, and those nasty parsities. Within 48 hours (today is sunday), my cat loves to sleep on a white towels so every few hours i just counted the dead fleas, so far i've vaccumed up about 40 dead fleas. The cat's ears have cleared up and it looks whiter. The cat's old personality is back :)
Last night my cat's behavior was so normal and he's much happier now.

I'll advise either Revolution or Advantage Multi since my vet said it's the same.

Frontline is brill get a good flea spray or better still get the drops you put on the neck from your vet preferable.. Or you can get them in most Supermarkets. also spray the house not just the cat's bedding or place where it sleeps you can get a good household flea spray from pet shops spray all round the the skirting boards and any soft furnishings. do it every 3 months Flea eggs can lay dormant for about 2 years then when disturbed will hatch that's why people have Flea problems if they change things in the house or move to a new house Hope this helps. ( Not all cat's get fleas)

go to the vet and get something along the lines of frontline, they come in drops which you put on the cats skin on its neck, it gets absorbed but while being harmless to the cat the fleas drink the blood and die. You may also want to get some flea treatment for the house and the cats bed, just incase, cat fleas dont live for long on anything other than cats however so you will be looking for eggs more i guess.

Frontline only gets rid of the fleas on the cats. There could still be larvae in the bedding and carpets. Get a good flea spray in ADDITION to Frontline and treat household areas where the cat sleeps.

No, all cats do not have fleas. My 3 inside cats haven't had one flea in years. I use Revolution. I also never, ever allow them to be outside. Any of the tubes that you squeeze onto the back of the neck are good. I used to use Advantage, but my vet stopped carrying it. There was a health issue, I believe. I've heard that Frontline is good, too. My cats haven't had ANY parasites (worms of any kind, fleas, etc.) for years!

I would get 2 products they are called BasicH2 and Basic G they are both safe and non toxic. You can use it as a shampoo for your cats and also you can use them to clean your house.

If you use as a shampoo for your cats you put 1/2Tsp of BasicH2 and 2 or 3 drops of Basic G into a gallon of water. Then put in a squeeze bottle .Go around the neck area first soak it good then the back area and then the rest . Then rinse well make sure you don't get in their eyes. This product takes shield off the fleas and drowns them. Basic G gets rid of germs and fungus. I would also recommend a vitamin supplement called Vit-Lea .Go on line to order this product at shaklee.ca

Aside from all the good recommendations for flea collars, frontline etc. If the fleas are in your carpet you can get something called Flea Fogger to treat the room.

Buy a cat collar or Frontline from petco. They have alot of flea and tick things for you house and other things. If your cat has them, then so does your house. Get rid of them fast because they will not only bite your cat, they will bite you. My neice has got bitten by fleas from her dads cat. Its a indoor cat but they don't know that fleas can jump into your house from you door when you leave or from your window

I use Frontline on my cats and dogs. It works great. Also, I spray my carpet once a month with an in-home flea spray you can get in the garden section at your local Wal-Mart.

1. Comb your cat with with a flea comb and put the fleas you get out in a container with water and washing up liquid (that kills them quickly).
2. Thoroughly vacuum carpets and furniture.
3. Apply 'Frontline' that you have purchased from the vets (expensive, but worth it).
4. That's it really, just make sure comb your cat, vacuum regularly and apply Frontline monthly.
