Yes, God is serious about this. We are born into sinful flesh. If we are not "born again" into the Spirit then we will die the first death, be raised at the judgement and be killed again since we did not choose to follow Christ. If we are "born again" we will only have to die the first death that all men die. We will not have to die the second eternal death since we chose to live a life in Christ and will be given eternal life.

To be born once is to die twice. Meaning that if you have only 1 birthday here on earth. You'll have to die twice. There is Physical Death and Spiritual Death, the word Death can be difned by the one word (Seperation). Where the body and soul separate from each other. Like what it saiys here if you didn't choose Jesus Christ you'll be forver separated from God by the second death. On the other hand, If you have 2 birthdays, a earthly birthday & spiritual birthday. Until the Rapture happens, We will all die when our time comes then our spirit and body will separate. But, If we have chosen to believe in Jesus Christ as our Personal Lord & Savior, we will not die but enter into heaven. If the Rapture happens before we die, then we won't have to go through the Valley of the Shadow Of Death. We'll be "Caught Up" 1st Then 4:17 with all those who've gone on before us into Heaven.

Born by flesh is once,die twice is that you can die in the flesh and in the spirit.
born twice is that if u r saved or born again already ;if u turn away from God u would have to repent over again meaning a second time,die once ;if u die in the flesh that is it. Heaven or Hell.

Bible is nothing but a big fat book with good morals and morals and so on.. So, don't take it seriously...
it is serious to those who believe god created humanity and so on.. but don't be fooled just because they're talkign serious about death and rebirth and stuff like dat.

No it's not the bible so much that is serious, see the bible isn't true because it's the bible, it's true because GOD said it's true.
