"Science without religion is lame;religion without science is blind." Albert Einstein
To my knowlede, science hasn't disproved anything written in the Bible. As a matter of fact, many studies show the Bible to be true.Take Sodom and Gomorrah, for instance. Many doubt that story, but archaeologists have uncovered over 50,000 bodies(bones that added up to over 50,000 bodies) from underneath thick ash layer, proving that Sodom and Gomorrah had indeed existed and was destroyed by fire, just like the Bible says. They also uncovered many artifacts which were scattered among the bones.
Science certainly does have it's flaws, because much of it is based on supposition.Take the Theory of Evolution for example.Noone has ever observed the process of evolution at work, and cannot even prove that this process is an ongoing endeavor. So,evolution is actually just an opinion,a theory that is being used by atheistic scientists to try and disprove that God created the universe.
In summary, there will always be those who try to scientifically prove that the Bible is inaccurate, but they are,in actuality, proving it every time they do in-depth studies.Their initial findings may cast doubt, but in the long run,the deeper they dig,the more truth comes out.You don't have to be a rocket scientist to believe or disbelieve the Bible, just a seeker of the real Truth.

I support accurate science.
I have yet to come across accurate science that points out something that contradicts certain aspects of the Bible. I have come across best-educated-guess science that certain people believe disproves certain aspects of the Bible. I remain open to the debate.
Whatever science comes up with, it will never prove that the utter transformation of my life when I accepted that Jesus was God's Son and took on the sins of the world didn't happen. That is, if certain points of science are one day proven to directly disprove certain aspects of the Bible, it won't change my heart. It may change parts of my mind, but my heart and soul are God's and remain untouched by the things of this world.
The Bible is not my evidence, in other words. My evidence is the entire renovation of my life--which is massive and which those who haven't had the experience don't and can't understand yet--and the proper orientation of my heart, mind, and soul to the living God.
In other words, Jesus is the Way. The Bible teaches me about Jesus' life and mentions his divinity...but I do not believe Jesus is divine because I read it. I believe Jesus is divine because what he has done to me.

Agnostic here:
Sandy, how can you possibly say that no accurate science disproves anything in the bible? Have you read the bible? Have you heard of evolution? The bible essentially states that the world was created about ... 4004 year ago? Or 4004 B.C. One of the two. Even ignoring everything about evolution, we *know* that the world is far older than this. Billions of years older than this.
As for the question, it seems obvious to me that the answer to your question is "yes." Christians allow themselves to be treated and cured by modern medicine, do they not? I bet a lot of them even get flu shots every year, which is essentially admitting that they believe in evolution: the reason a new one is needed each year is because the virus evolves into different strains which aren't affected by the old vaccine. Likewise, they use modern technology, and think nothing of it.
But when something discounts what they've read in the bible, automatically it's "not accurate." We're pretty damn accurate when it comes to your flu vaccine! Why is it so inconceivable that we'd be accurate about how old the world is?

I completely support science. It has not and never will disprove any part of the Bible. The Bible is scientifically accurate in the few instances where it touches on scientific matters. For instance, at Isaiah 40:22 it says: "There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth,"
The Hebrew word hhug here is defined in A Concordance of the Hebrew and Chaldee Scriptures by B. Davidson as “circle, sphere. This is thousands of years before the earth was discovered by science to be a globe.

No. I would prefer to believe that in that particular situation, that the Bible has disproved Science. The Bible is God's word. And God is the creator of man. At no point can creation disprove something stated clearly by God.

The Bible is the Word of God, and is completely true, so there is nothing wrong in it for science to disprove.

Science doesn't disprove anything in the Bible. Scientific theories and speculations may run contrary to what the Bible teaches but nothing in the Bible has ever been "proved" to be wrong. Here's what one eminent scientist had to say about science and his Christian faith.
http://www.tektonics.org/scim/sciencemony.htm
Dr. Francis S. Collins is Director of the National Human Genome Research Institute at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. He currently leads the Human Genome Project, directed at mapping and sequencing all of human DNA, and determining aspects of its function. His previous research has identified the genes responsible for cystic fibrosis, neurofibromatosis, Huntington's disease and Hutchison-Gilford progeria syndrome. He is a member of the Institute of Medicine and the National Academy of Sciences.
Collins spoke with Bob Abernethy of PBS, posted online at http://www.pbs.org/wnet/religionandethics/transcripts/collins.html, in which he summaries the compatability of fact and faith thusly:
“I think there’s a common assumption that you cannot both be a rigorous, show-me-the-data scientist and a person who believes in a personal God. I would like to say that from my perspective that assumption is incorrect; that, in fact, these two areas are entirely compatible and not only can exist within the same person, but can exist in a very synthetic way, and not in a compartmentalized way. I have no reason to see a discordance between what I know as a scientist who spends all day studying the genome of humans and what I believe as somebody who pays a lot of attention to what the Bible has taught me about God and about Jesus Christ. Those are entirely compatible views.
“Science is the way -- a powerful way, indeed -- to study the natural world. Science is not particularly effective -- in fact, it’s rather ineffective -- in making commentary about the supernatural world. Both worlds, for me, are quite real and quite important. They are investigated in different ways. They coexist. They illuminate each other. And it is a great joy to be in a position of being able to bring both of those points of view to bear in any given day of the week. The notion that you have to sort of choose one or the other is a terrible myth that has been put forward, and which many people have bought into without really having a chance to examine the evidence. I came to my faith not, actually, in a circumstance where it was drummed into me as a child, which people tend to assume of any scientist who still has a personal faith in God; but actually by a series of compelling, logical arguments, many of them put forward by C. S. Lewis, that got me to the precipice of saying, ‘Faith is actually plausible.’ You still have to make that step. You will still have to decide for yourself whether to believe. But you can get very close to that by intellect alone.”

Uh...which aspects?
Sweeping questions/answers are not the way to learn and grow. The scientific method is all about specifics...
A question for you, along the same lines: How has science proved that killing babies for fun is wrong?
