Okay, if we are not here with an emotion defined as love.. We should be here for self preservation only...
Then explain to me why someone would have a kidney removed so that their child should live? What about a cousin? What about a stranger?
Explain love of country... Those soldiers in the Middle East and Afghanistan are expressing a form of love... They are putting their life on the line that YOU may have the freedom to grow up, get married, speak freely, etc...
They could walk away from it. They could let terrorists win... However, if the terrorist wins, your way of life and possibly your life is OVER.
That soldier is loving you and you don't even realize it. He's laying it all on the line.

I beg to defer. When a female animal has relations with a male animal it's only so that they co-exist. When that female has her litter. She is very protective of them if it means her life. That is not considered love in your eyes!The female loin teaches her pups how to hunt for food as to prepare them for adult hood. Is that not a sign of love? The female makes her pups all stay within so many feet of her as to make sure no harm comes to them. Is that not a sign that she loves them? I on the other hand do believe in love. So if one doesn't believe in love one can not believe in the Lord , God cause he is love. I would like to see your answers for this. Best topic I have seen yet. It truly is something to talk about.

yes. i am in love right now. it's amazing. love is when you love someone more than you love yourself, when you do things you don't like just because you know it will make the person you love happy, compromising when you really don't want to, pretending to have fun so you won't make the person you love have a bad time, loving without holding back any part of that love, opening up your heart to someone by telling them things only you & God know, etc. LOVE IS REAL

science says theres nothing so called as love,its just some chemicals produced in our bodies which last for some years,thats what we call the physical attraction and when our body stops producing these chemicals relationships are left to last based on trust ,mutual understanding ,patience etc.it sucks i know but yo may call it love aswell.
